CLAIM: all peoples have a right to democratic self determination which has to be guaranteed by an impartial emb

GROUND: self determination is one of the goods which are perfective of human nature

WARRANT: all humans are inclined to the good of self determination which makes them political animals

BACKING: the Bible says, created in the image of God, we participate in his capacity for be self determination

OBJECTION: the Biblical God does not exist

REBUTTAL: the Biblical God does exist as demonstrated by Aquinas six ways in his treatise called summa theologica

QUALIFIER: The above argument fails if Aquinas arguments for the existence of God are disproved, which none has done successfully today
