Usafiri wa Boti Zanzibar ni hatari

This x-mass nilisafiri kwenda Z'bar (Unguja) kwa ajili ya matembezi. Katika yote issue ya usafiri wa speed boats (I used Azam Marine boats) niliona yafuatayo ambayo yanahitaji mamlaka na wasafiri kuchukulia uzito;

  1. Viti havina namba hence wakati wa kuingia you just sit on any empty seat; creating a huge scrambe for seats.
  2. Tickets zinauzwa nyingi kuliko idadi ya seats; wanatangaza boat imejaa but still wanaendelea kuuza tickets ila kwa bei ya juu kidogo.
  3. Hence boats zinakuwa over-loaded na ni hatari sana (remember MV Bukoba).
Suggested solutions;
  1. Viti viwe na namba na tickets ziwe na corresponding seat numbers.
  2. Every passenger should have a seat, any one without a seat authorities should make a pre-take off inspection and not allow boats to leave.
  3. Abiria tunatakiwa tugome kusafiri kwenye mazingira hayo (usiniulize why sikugoma, I wish I did but I was alone on it).
 
Vipi utaratibu wa mizigo ya abiria; hapo napo tatizo. Nafikiri mamlaka husika inabidi watupie macho mambo ya usalama wa abiria na mali zao. Lakini bado ninao fursa kwa mwekezaji wa ndani kuanzisha cargo handling katika bandari hizi mbili DAR na ZNZ kwani sasa kila abiri analazimika kuangalia mzigo wake mwenyewe ikiwa ni pamoja na kupakia na kushusha katika boti. Wale wachukuzi wanaotumika pale ni genge la wahuni fulani na sjui linaongozwa na nani?

Dah! ni hatari sana, but nimeshasafiri ZNZ-DAR-ZNZ zaidi ya mara 40 kwa spid boat (AZAM, SEA STAR, SEPIDEH, SEA EXPRESS but sjatokewa na hali hiyo-Lakini ni observation nzuri ambayo ni lazma ifanyiwe kazi hususan kwa sit number kwani kweli hazifuatwi japo zipo kwa baadhi ya boat-Ni vema wakatumia japo boarding card ili kudhibiti idadi ya abiria wanaozidi.
 
SUMATRA bado wamelala wanawaza kuondolewa kwa kimradi chao cha Majembe auction mart,umpaka itokee ajali ndio utawaona wakija na mipango,mikakati ya usalama wa vyombo vya majini,mijitu imekaa tu ofisini,huu ndio utendaji kazi wa wa TZ

Na hatari nyingine ni taa za kuongozea boat au meli kuingia bandarini kwa upande wa bara, nyingi hazifanyi kazi... ni hatari pale inapokua inanyesha mvua na ukungu umetanda.. nahodha inabidi awe makini sana.. usiombe hali hii ikikute kama ni muoga unaweza mwaga chozi mtu mzima...
 
To show my concerns I'll call SUMATRA offices or even go there myself.
