US tech company Cisco appoints Kenyan woman as East Africa regional manager

Sally Kimeu was named Cisco's regional manager on Tuesday, October 22, after previously serving as the company's strategic business manager - The Moi and Strathmore universities alumni will be tasked with boosting sales and expanding the market for the Cisco East African team - Kimeu said the region offers a great opportunity for the company and is looking forward to the new challenge Cisco Systems, an American multinational technology company, has appointed Sally Kimeu as its country leader and regional manager for its East Africa operations. Kimeu climbed up the ladder to her current position after serving as Cisco’s strategic business manager for the United Nations in East and Southern Africa and Egypt.

Kimeu said East Africa offers a great opportunity for the company and is looking forward to the new challenge. “I look forward to the opportunity and responsibility the new role presents.
