The so called ladha ya maji ni kutokana na madini (minerals), maji ya mvua (kukinga) ni tofauti na maji ya kisima.

Maji ni hewa zilizopoa, kuyachemsha hakuondoi hewa hizo... bali hubadilika kwenda hali nyepesi (mvuke/vapor).

Scientific explanation

Boiling water removes dissolved oxygen and other gases.

The solubility of gases in liquids is decreased as temperature increases. This manifests as a problem when water is used for cooling, e.g. in a power plant.

The warm water returned to the river is depleted in oxygen, which can kill off the fish and other animals (crustaceans, molluscs, etc.)
Kinacholeta ladha kwenye maji ni "dissolved minerals" kama vile MgSO4, Ca(HCO3) ambayo ukichemsha maji hutoka (hasa hiyo hydrogen carbonate), n.k sio oxygen maana hata hiyo oxygen haina ladha.

Hata mimi nimeyazoea sana kiasi nikipewa maji hayajachemshwa koo linayakubali kwa tabu sana. Ni kama yanakuwa mazito vile. Kifupi nayanywa kwa taabu kama vile kunywa juice ya nyanya.
