Wapo ambao tayari wameshaguliwa lakini mshiko serikalini unagoma hivyo wengi wao bado kwenda vituoni. Hata hivyo nina wasiwasi kama teuzi zao zinaendana na mahitaji yaliyopo. Labda wangechukuwa vijana toka sekta binafsi wenye upeo kiasi na kudeal na CORPORATE clients ingesaidia. Ofcourse watahitaji kupigwa msasa kidogo lakini naamini kama watakuwa recruited kwa umakini natumai watasaidia zaidi kuliko hawa career civil servants walioathiriwa na utamaduni wa kiserikaliserikali...

I use common sense and my Ngwiniism tells me I can be a better Tanesco CEO than even some of those who were there who were Engineers!

Lets say I give you a token for your argument, then the question becomes why Tanesco has continued to fail and rush to use cheap methods to distribute electricity? if you read the feasibility studies for Pangami or other Hydro projects such as Kidatu an Mtera, there is a line up of matatizo, and he question becomes why Mchungaji ngwini mbwabwajaji finds the faults nd not YNIM the engineer who designed the plan?

Normally, I would agree with you 100%, but unfortunately due to reasons I have cited in my posting on page 6, this is not true in Tanzania. Hence my argument and I agree with Rev Kishoka, that despite his lack of engineering knowledge he would make a good manager of TANESCO. For example do you think that in order to manage Muhimbili, we need a doctor to manage it? Or to manage KIA airport we need a pilot? No, we need good managers! Expertise advise is essential and a good manager is the one who gets the right experts to advise him and implement plans.

The answer is simple! Anything run by Miafrika is doomed to fail. Failed states, failed governments, failed enterprises, failed societies, failed communities, failed schools...you name it...

Finding the fault(s) is not that hard. It's the rectification of that fault that is hard. Rectification requires knowledge, skill, innovation, ingenuity, hard work (not necessarily in that order),etc etc. So far we haven't exhibited any of these or if we have it is just to a very minimal degree. So all of this can be summed up to just three words......

Inategema unaiangali Tanzania kwa mchepuo upi. Kutimiza matakwa ya sasa na muda mfupi na kuweka kando matakwa ya muda mrefu ama kufanikisha yote kwa pamoja. Kwangu mimi vyote ni muhimu. Kinachotakiwa ni kuwa makini katika utekelezaji wake ili kuhakikisha malengo halali ndio yanafanikiwa na sio malengo haramu.
