This program is our flagship summer program aimed at providing participants with specialized knowledge in business management and entrepreneurship. It is directed towards those who are new to their management positions as entrepreneurs and those who are in the process of getting promoted to new managerial and leadership positions in their organizations with no prior formal management or business education. The program provides business acumen and knowledge in a few major areas in business management with a great mix of talented students and experienced faculty. In addition to our local students from the US, our programs attract students from all over the world.


Taking advantage of the academic talents we have VIU in our business and other schools, the Summer Institute in Management and Business Administration (SIMBA) will provide you with the tools you need to distinguish yourself in your existing position, get hired for a career in business management, start your own business, and/or sharpen your skills while you are eyeing your next promotion in the management ranks.
SIMBA is a three week residential program that provides participants with a strong foundation in business management fundamentals.
