I really do think and believe that Francis12, you do not know who is Lissu. To me, Lissu remains a whistle blower to satisfy his inner, self accolade. But Lissu and you + his admirers, do you know what is more powerful than words? Yes, it is incredible what words and phrases can actually do. They can sway others' opinions, like Lissu's words to you Francis12, to be shaped more like a formidable and agreeable expression. Yes, words have affected everyone in the history of the world. Yes, words affect us so matter of factually that we change our being due to the hurt or happiness we depict and choose to let into our consciousness.
Now let me tell you Francis12 and the rest of Lissu's stoogies, that When deeds speak, words are nothing. The lack of words have been and will always be a fundamental cementing and harmonising weapon, while words is a destructive weapon. These contradictory statements are more perfect than you might grasp as of yet. Evidence is that the teachings of most spiritual leaders (Mohammed, Jesus and the rest mentioned in the Bible or Qur'an) did not come from what they said or wrote. They did not have the perfect thing to say to sway an opinion for personal satisfaction, they certainly did not use the words to lie or swindle from anybody, like what your Mr Lissu is trying to achieve.
As usual, if I ask you what has been the impacts of Lissu's rhetoric speeches, you would come to his defence that he is not in power, to make any meaningful impacts. This is supported by the contents of your post in which Lissu throws all blames to the people in power, especially Dr Magufuli, the present incumbent of the State House.
But, then as a member of Perliament, for Singida East Constituency, has he made any significant developmental changes! Again people who patronize him, blindly and foolishly, like you Francis12 would come to his defence that he is not part of the government.
However, suppose his rhetorics were aimed at changing the attitudes, behaviours and practices of his electorates towards developmental changes, he would be a real militant and uncompromising crusader for development.
There are two things that Lissu lacks that are the characteristics of great men in history.
1) the lack of words compared to their abundance of actions, and
2) the continuous words complimenting their good nature and actions for the rest of eternity.
The great people did not sit down and write an autobiographical account of everything they did, went through and did for the greater good of people and living things alike. They were not in it for the praise. They were in it because the actions and behaviour they exerted had no descriptive words during the exact moments of the doing. Those great men in history expressed, for today's society I can best relate to Silent words.
