Robert Kaygulanyi (Bobi Wine) akatibiwe.
The Kenyans led by photojournalist cum activist, Boniface Mwangi say they will march to the Ugandan Embassy in protest on Wednesday, August 22.
Mwangi, while responding to a tweet showing pictures of another protest in Busia Kenya, said he was proud of Kenyans in the west, adding; Thank you for leading on this. Nairobi we are on for #FreeBobiWine on Wednesday, 22nd August. We are marching to the Ugandan Embassy on Riverside drive. The organising team @TeamCourageKE @alaminkimathi@lawsocietykenya will share more details.
It is key to note however, that there was no protest in Busia Kenya, as the pictures shared were picked off an unverified BBC Kenya page which has been set up with Bobi Wine related content.
Meanwhile, the police and military in Kampala were on Monday afternoon involved in running battles with people in the city centre who were protesting against the detention of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kaygulanyi also known as Bobi Wine.
