- Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli is known as an engaging orator with his speeches captivating audiences on different occasions.
Known as a straight shooter not mincing his words when addressing issues of national importance, Magufuli's narration often leaves many in stitches.
During a speech launching a radar system in Dar es Salaam, the Tanzanian president drew inspiration from Kenya's Sauti Sol hit song Extravanganza lifting lyrics and placing them in his speech.

Unable to recollect the name of the singers, he turned to the crowd to assist him to establish if it was Sauti Sol who sang the song.
"Ule Wimbo sijui wa mwimbaji gani kule, sijui Sauti Solo sijui sauti nani, anasema wao wakifunika wengine wanafunua, Tukifunika tunafungua (singing) hawazuiliwi kufanya kitu. Wakienda kwenye Muziki vyombo vikifungiwa, wao wako ndani, ukiwazuia tayari wao wako humo.
"Sijui ndo Sauti ya Solo ama nani, nyinyi mtajua, Wanasema wakifunika wao wanafunua wakienda Kusini wao wako kaskazini, wakiwafungia kuingia ndani wanawakuta wako ndani, sasa sisi ni hivyo hivyo,”
(That song by that band, is it Sauti Sol? where they sing that nothing will stop them from their goal and they are ready to go to any lengths to be successful)" he stated.
Reacting to the clip, Sauti Sol via their Instagram account stated, "Ndio maana tunasema Rais John Magufuli atabaki kileleni (That is what Magufuli will always be on top)"
