The truth about army ammuniation explosion like that of Gongo la Mboto

The bombs explosions are part of a wider picture about Tanzania. It is a country full of negligence and most people do not obey simple rules and regulations or abide by the instructions provided on how to do certain things. It is diheartening when we I see people doing things which are completely against enacted laws and accepted norms. Just drive in Dar and see how drivers do not obey traffic laws. They overtake on the left and on the right, the motorbike riders can cross on red lights in front of a traffic officer, etc. It is horrible! Cholera has pitched its tent in Dar. It is here to stay because the city is very dirty. It stinks!

You may wonder what have all these that I have said above have to do with bombs explosions. There is a lot of negligence and lack of professionalism. "Tumejaaa uswahili swahili tu". Trully speaking the country is going down the drain. Have you reflected on some of the calamities which kiled many people in Tanzania and were caused by negligence? There are many but some of the most outstanding ones include the train accident in Dodoma and the sinking of a ship in Lake Victoria which killed hunderds of Tanzanians.

Tanzanians must wake up. They must respect education and professinalism. Otherwise, lets stop imitating what others do in other parts of the world. those guys respect education and professionalism and above all the follow the laid down laws, rules and regulations. In Tanzania laws, rules and regulations are for the downtrodden. Our leaders trounce them with impunity!

Sorry for the long passage but this is what I observe in Tanzania!

Well said.

Mlipuko huu wa mabomu umefanywa kwa hila ili ku-divert attention hawa mafisadi hamuwawezi wanawazidi ujanja, watatumia kila mbinu na hila ili waendelee kukaa madarakani. Haiwezekani nyumba ziungue moja baada ya nyingine tena kuanzia saa mbili tu huu ni upuuzi kupita kiasi.

Sijui kwa nini watu wanashindwa kukubali ukweli huu!Hongera sana kwa kuliona hili.

This country is in deep leadership vacuum. What is being awaited for change to happen is the boiling point to triger meaningful change for a new day. If leaders can not even learn from the previous loopholes/weakness then what relevancy do they have to remain leaders for the people? It is high time as a country, we review ethics and code of conduct for public servants. What core values do our leader pursue (responsiveness, integrity, hard working, professionalism, humility, dedication to people, passion to leave a memorable legacy etc) and enshrine in their day to day public life?
