Things are changing over at Buckingham Palace, and by that I'm of course referring to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new role as non-royals. Not only have they given up their royal titles, but they also gave up their royal allowance and will likely spend most of their time in Canada, rather than the UK, from now on.
Of course, there's still a lot that needs to be sorted out (like them buying a house in Canada), and while Queen Elizabeth is thought to be "pleased" with the step-down agreement, there is one thing she's a bit upset about: Not getting to spend more time with Harry and Meghan's son Archie.
According to The Sunday Times, the Queen is "very sad" that she and other members of the royal family haven't seen much of Archie since he was born eight months ago. The Sussexes have been away from the UK since November, and now it looks like Archie might not be back anytime soon. A source shared, "She will be very sad to have barely seen Archie and that he will miss out on growing up with his cousins and wider family."
This comes after previous reports that Archie has only met his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis a "handful of times." So I guess it remains to be seen how close the Sussexes will remain with the rest of the royal fam!
