The military strengths of Kenya and Uganda

Halafu ni makosa makubwa sana kupima nguvu za kijeshi kwa bajeti ya mwaka na kwa vifaa bora peke yake. Nguvu ya jeshi ni zaidi ya vifaa japo navyo ni sehemu muhimu. Lakini nje ya silaha kuna mambo mengi lukuki yakiwemo uzoefu wa kivita wa jeshi, uzalendo wa wanajeshi, mbinu (na hapa ni pa muhimu sana). Katika mbinu ni pamoja na uwezo wa kutumia silaha uliyo nayo kwa kiwango cha juu, uwezo wa kumsoma adui yako, kujua mbinu zake na kuweza kumwingiza mtegoni au kutibua mipango yake au kuwahi kumshambulia kabla hajafanya kitu, kuwa na spidi kali na kumzidi adui katika uwanja wa vita, nk. nk.

nakubalina na wewe bayao nakumbuka vita ya uganda na tz uganda walikuwa na vifaa babu kubwa unajua ndege nyingi za uganda ziko hapa kubwa ni uzalendo
 
Kenya has the best training and equipment. Now it is true Kenya has no experience fighting in a foreign country but the fact is they have better training, meaning they are better prepared for the military challenge that Kenya could face. Uganda has more "experience" partly because they are not an effective military. They should have finished off LRA decades ago but instead they have fought them for over 20 years, gathering experience I guess. Kenya misses out on experience because it eliminates organized armed groups on its territory too quickly.

Bora hao Kenya na Uganda at least fleet yao kwenye airforce inatia moyo kuliko sisi bongo ambao tuna outdated and old Mig fighters za mwaka 1973 kule Ngerengere tena zipo nne tu, na sijui hata kama zinaruka!

kenya, uganda na nchi nyingne yoyote is no match kwa Tanzania, mkitaka kujua waulizeni uganda, na mkitaka kuamini zaidi, waulizeni CHADEMA, tanzania inatisha, na ikiona inazidiwa, inarudi kwa kamati za ufundi zinakaa, utashangaa ndege zinatua zenyewe katika viwanja vya ndege vya bongo, na zingine zinaanguka bila kupigwa....chezea bongo weye....tuna silaha za nzungu, na za asili(za babu)
 
My last on this topic; not to kill the topic. I hope Kenya and Uganda can coexist in peace for the foreseeable future. Still I believe Kenya is capable of defending herself effectively against any military threat from any of its immediate neighbors. It is also a fact that the experience that is talked about, with regards to her neighbors, is generally against other ill-trained and equipped forces, bringing into question the value of this experience against a more modern, well trained and equipped force such as Kenya's. How many foes has Uganda faced that even have a functioning air force?

Mkuu tusijitie misifa kwa kutoa kichapo kwa jeshi kibonde la Idd Amin. Ni sawa na kumpiga mjinga alafu mtu ujisifie.

I like you already... am not so much into all this military talk, I'd rather compare the economies of our countries than which country totes bigger guns. Kenya has been preparing for war for a while now, its almost common sense that its arsenal cant be compared to any in the wider East and Central Africa, that being said, Kenya must defend its borders from unfriendly neighbors (read Uganda and Alshabaab), and it MUST, before going to war, weigh and use other alternative methods like diplomacy to avert the problem.

Right now we need the support of the whole of East Africa, we must note that Kenya is trying to get rid of a problem that ails the whole of East Africa. I think its a bit unfair, when some of us sit and openly support Alshabaab and pray for the failure of the Kenya Army, supporting and sympathizing with terrorist is the worst form of unpatriotism, its at par with treason in my books. Lets be a bit considerate and support our soldiers in battle.. we will discuss all this when the war is over.

alshabaab wanazuia maendeleo ya kiuchumi, meli za mizigo zinazunguka umbali mrefu kuwakwepa hadi kufika bandari, cost of importation inazidi kuwa kubwa kila siku....bora wapigwe tu, kenya wakitaka msaada wanitafute thru my jamii inbox mail....
