Tanzania is a minor contributor of GHG emissions, a fact clearly indicated by its share of global carbon dioxide emissions, Tanzania as other countries are Experiencing the worst Effects of Fossil fuels industries and the world largest polluters, people must understand when fossil fuels-coal,oil and Natural gas-are burnt they Release Co2 into the atmosphere, Because of this the layer of green house gas is getting thicker,which is in turn marking the Earth warmer.
Thus the Ongoing unlimited burning of fossil fuels is the cause of climate change.
Scientists are telling us with ever more urgency that we must act quickly to stop extracting Fossil Fuels and Reduce Greenhouse gas Emissions, in Tanzania over 70% people survive on subsistence agriculture,their livelihoods depend fully on Rain and fail when the rains fail,these extremes of drought and floods threaten the lives and livelihoods of the poor people more than other social groups.
Climate change can adversely impact the availability of fresh water supplies, the Efficiency of local sewerage and food seity, but also climate change is the threats to public health in Tanzania, for instance, malaria is the one of the world most serious and complex public health problems and it was now been identified as the disease most likely to be affected by climate change (WHO).for tropical African countries, environment conditions are already favourable for malaria transmission. The Vulnerable areas are those where transmission is currently constrained by Temperature, such as the East African highlands, Even though in Tanzania, many people They are not aware about the Effect of fossil fuels due to lack of Environmental Education and informations,it's a duty now for Environment Activist and professional Environmentalist to presurize the Government and the (UN) to kicking out fossil fuels industries Investors in the UN CLIMATE policy making.
