TFF to give Stars 30m/-

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has said they will give Taifa Stars players 30m/-.
TFF Secretary-General Fredrick Mwakalebela said yesterday that the amount would be part of the gate collection grossed in their African Cup of Nations, Group Seven qualifying match against Mozambique.
The match played at the 60,000-seater ultra modern stadium in Dar es Salaam on September 8, fetched 605,020,000/-.
TFF gave the same amount to the Taifa Stars when they played Uganda Cranes in a friendly match on the same ground.
The amount fetched in the Stars-Mozambique tie was two times more than the amount grossed in the team�s game against Uganda Cranes, played a week before the qualifying match.
Mozambique hit Stars 1-0. Stars finished third on eight points while Mozambique were second with a point above the team trained by Brazilian Marcio Maximo as Senegal qualified for the 2008 Ghana finals after hammering Burkina Faso 5-1 in Dakar.
