From Tanzania with love:Karachi gets jumbo gift After tireless efforts by the Community Development Department (CDD), four baby elephants from Tanzania have arrived in Karachi through a special chartered airplane, sources said yesterday. The sources said the four baby elephants would be shifted to Safari Park soon after their arrival where a quarantine station has been established. After staying for at least 15 days at the quarantine station, they would be shifted into a big enclosure for elephants. The DO Safari Park, Raza Abbas Rizvi, said that all arrangements for housing the elephants in the quarantine station had been completed and the visitors of Safari Park would be able to see the four baby elephants in the park.
