Tanzania's milk imports ban has hit Kenyan dairies hard!

Azam dairy r to be given that plant n FYI ur dairy industry can be taken down anytime none of of dairies have muscles to compete with Azam. Open that border n dance to the music. If ur industry was that big them u should hav entered Nigerian market ever since n not waiting till Dangote opens up his over US $ 800 mln facilities. What a loser nation?

You are still leaners to us when it comes to the diary industry.. You guys consume way less milk than us, therefor by virtue of that, you can't compete with our milk industry..

In European supermarkets u find all dairy products n the best sells principle applies. The same should be in EAC no President should abuse his power by protection his private business. Mind u Magu motto is tit for tat, n when u say ng'we, more bans r added..

If they consume less that means the opportunity to grow is immense..

The good thing is that dairy industry can be put up by anyone as not capital intensive where where there is enough pasture n cattles. A reason Brookside et al r scared a shit upon hearing Azam entrance in that market.

our leading export to tz only...ask Egypt what our tip export is...ask the EU what our top export to their nations is?
Tea producers largest in africa
Coffee
Flowers
(top in the world)
wildlife and tourism....we receive more visiotrs annualy than Tanzania even though tz tourism industry is more vibrant than ours...lol! hivi serengeti inawasaidia vipi? na Kenya kunaterrorist kila upande ila tourist arrivals are higher than urs..
athletes best athletes in the world...juzi gold medalists walipewa $50,000 kule London...piga hesabu pesa ngapi tumepata toka kwa athletics hizo miaka zote...

Brother, are u living in ur own world? Ni Dunia gani hyo ambayo Kenya inaongoza kuzalisha maua?

we are the largest exporters of flowers to the EU...yes Netherlands export more globally...but the fact that we are competing with netherlands is a good thing...what abt you? what do u export? what is tz known for in the world? i told you ur best bet was tourism but according to 2015 and 2016 fugures, Kenya (which is battling with terror) and Uganda (poor and underdeveloped) received more tourists than Tanzania...sasa sijui mnafanya kazi mkirudi nyuma? lol!
Our banks zimejaa east africa kote...our supermarkets, though struggling, zimejaa kote...sijawahi kuona hata benki moja ya tz humu...nilifika Kigali majuzi nikapata kushop Nakumatt...pia Uganda na TZ ziko tele...kuna KCB Kigali pia nikatoa pesa pale...yaani hapa EA hatuna competition yoyote pengine tuseme wawekezaji wa SA, Nigeria na Egypt...sasa hizo bidhaa mtaendelea kuban tu ila baraka ya Kenya inatoka kwa Mola direct...nyota yetu inaangaza sana

Nakumatt Tanzania wapo wapi.? Wakati wapo hoi wanapumulia mashine. Na as we speak mkurugenzi wao yupo under survialance for Tax evasion issues. So soon watafunga hilo duka.

Sio ombwe la Uongozi juzi Magufuli alipokuwa akizindua new production line Tanga dairy alipewa malalamiko maziwa yao kuzuiwa kuuzwa Kenya kisa lame excuse ati Kenya's dairy market is saturated according to authorities there n no consumers that r sensitive to affordable price n quality products from Tanzania.

Magu akaamuru mamlaka yazuie pia maziwa ya Kenya kuingia nchini. That's fair according to me n the way we should treat Kenya's business interests at all fronts i.e. tit for tat. Maana hawajui maana ya free market.

Hehe, that's why Kenya is said to have the "most advanced" dairy industry in this region... If Tz want to really improve your milk production from current maximum of 24 litters per day per cow to Kenyan standards of 60 liters per day, then trust me my friend, their is alot of capital needed to start a dairy industry those high quality cows sell from 150K to as high as 400K per cow,if you want 7 high yielding cows then you must have at least a million in your pockets, regular cows sellfrom 25k-50k or maximum 70k...
There needs to be millions of dollars spent in research in cross breeding, artificial insemination... Then for the industry to actually work efficiently farmers need to educated, you need agriculture specialist to be visiting farms to educated cow farmers on best practises also alot of research will need to go into making available different treatment for different diseases that affect cows in different environments (highlands, coast)

There is still alot of work to be done for Tz to even begin to compete with Kenya in the diary industry

Look at that, and average of 111 liters per person compared to 47 !!!! Even your governments most optimising projection by 2025 estimate reaching 100 litres by 2025, that's still less than what an average Kenyan consumed last year 2016!!!!!!
Just zip you mouth man, there is no point in trying to make an argument over that issue

Nakushauri nunua Azam na Brookside long life milk halafu linganisha ubora. I am discerning consumer I do quality siyo misplaced uzalendo.
i think even Tz milk producers should up thier quality kabla hata ya kuwanyoshea kidole majirani...most of local milk brands s of low quality especially long life section, to penetrate Kenyan market quality shold be vital...

Kenya needs our Market no matter what they must cry for it!

We unacheka nini? Huyo Geza inajulikana hapendi Kenya. Lakini moyoni anatamani angekuwa Mkenya. Ndio maana anajua kila kitu kinachofanyika Kenya. Anajua mengi kuhusu Kenya kushinda Wakenya wenyewe. Basi mbona atumie muda wake mwingi kusoma kwa internet kuhusu Kenya hadi anaishia kuwa external expert wa Kenyan Affairs?

Information is power yaani hata kunijibu direct unaogopa unatumia third part!

Many Tanzanians (including myself) consume unprocessed Milk which are undocumented,
Those information you rely are unrealistic.
