A 27-YEAR OLD Tanzanian man has been jailed for 27 months in the United Kingdom for keeping a young woman imprisoned in his car in a ’’terrifying’’ ordeal after she refused his demands for sex.

The Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how Tanzanian student Khalid Kajun, of Roseland Avenue in Wolverhampton, had put the young victim through a ’’dreadful and unpleasant’’ experience which left her feeling vulnerable and anxious in the company of men.

Kajun is reported to have admitted assault and false imprisonment, and was jailed by Judge Sybil Thomas on Friday last week.

Latest media reports from the UK say Kajun had been out drinking with the woman and other friends, and later that evening - instead of driving her home - he took the girl to his own house.

The Prosecutor, Simon Davis, said while Kajun felt there was some chance of sexual contact, the woman apparently considered him just a friend.

According to the prosecution, Kajun told her: ’’You are coming into the house’’and would not take no for an answer. The woman could not escape out of the Toyota Celica because he had parked it right next to a wall.

It was stated in court that Kajun told the woman he wanted sex with her, but she refused ’’in no uncertain terms’’, only for Kajun to grab her roughly and cause bruising to her legs and arms.

The woman then threatened to break one of the car windows, but Kajun produced a screwdriver which is said to have made her extremely frightened.

She begged for him to let her go, and finally managed to escape by climbing over him, getting out of the driver’s door, and running to a nearby house for help.

The prosecution said after the police were informed, they went to Kajuns house and seized the car without his knowledge. And when he went to the police to report his car stolen, he was arrested.

In sentencing, the judge told the defendant that the psychological damage he inflicted on the woman was considerable, and recommended that he be deported back to his native Tanzania once he completed his sentence.

Kajun’’s lawyer, Gurdeep Garcha, said the defendant had ’’completely misread the situation’’ and wanted to return to his home country to put the whole incident behind him.

Jamani!
This is another good lesson on relationships.Wabongo au waswahili tuseme, wamezoea kulazimisha mambo.Kukubali kutoka na mtu kwenda for a drink... may not necessarily mean I agree to what is at the back of your mind..... that after a few drinks I will have to pay by offering myself to you! Please men...read this and get to understand gud! Ughaibuni utaishia lupango!!If a woman say NO take it as NO PERIOD!

hata afande sele alishaimba....mwanamke akikataa mwache aende zake usimbake....!!

If a woman says NO, take your time!
Women want to be stimulated mentally, even the inexperienced ones.

Another thing is mixed signals, and how men misinterpret sex signals.

When a woman is READY, she will let it happen.

You, my friend, are a despicable, impudent human being.
Next time, it could be your sister? Be careful of what you say...... what has ulaya got to do with it? Does it mean you practice such behaviour as well? Your days are numbered.

Kuna mchizi wangu alishaingia hotel room na ki portable, wakaanza ku exchange ma gifts and all.Sasa ikaja umaliziaji mchizi akawa too civilized, demu akabadili mawazo chap chap.

Mchizi akaona kulazimishana hapa ndiyo hadithi za Tyson na Desiree Washington, ingawa chumba kilishalipiwa and everything mchizi aka bow out gracefully.

Alitaka kujilaumu lakini in retrospect akaona alifanya jambo la busara.Sasa hivi demu ndiye anamfukuzia mchizi halafu mchizi hana time yuko bize, tena anaona kimobitel kime gain pounds hata hakina appeal kama mwanzo.

Kuna mchizi wangu mwingine alirudishwa bongo miaka ya mwanzo ya tisini kwa kesi kama hii ya king'ang'anizi.

It can be done, tusiendekeze ukwasi.Utayatupa maisha na kuharibu saikolojia ya mtu hivi hivi.

Pundit,

this will always be the case of men who do not have respect for women. They will always fall under this trap.

Wanaume wengi wenye tabia hizi ni wale ambao walikuwa katika dysfunctional families na wale ambao waliona baba zao hawaheshimu mama zao au hata wanawake wengine. we all have to be careful of what leagcies we leave our children with. Pengine tunawaandaa kuwa the next BIG thing in JAIL!!

Hapa tulipo (MI) hata ukiwa umeshafika kunako yaana kakukubalia hadi mlango na umeingia kabisa akisema "no".. chomoa! Ukisukumiza tu rape! Ndio maana wengine tumeamua kwenda utawa sasa!

Haha MKJJ....story za Lydia ilikwua uzushi?

Mtu akipewa tabasamu na peck kwenye cheek anaona mambo yameshatiki lol....

Don't get me wrong: I am not in any way trying to justify whatever crime the individual in question may or may not have committed. All what I am trying to put across is that behaviors (or misbehaviors if you may) of this nature are strongly culturally determined, and given what I know about the situation in Tanzania; whatever this guy did in the UK (with all the media buzz that the story attracted in the tabloids there), its safe to say that it wouldn't warrant any equivalent "newsworthy" attention in the local media in Tanzania.

Hawa nao wana excuse gani?

These people are just sick! There is not any other explanation.
