-------------------------------------------------------

Tanzania is now seeking the intervention of East African Community ministerial committees on the issue of damming the Mara River, which has put it on a collision course with Kenya.
The Mara River rises in Kenya’s Mau Summit, flows through the world famous Masai Mara and into the Serengeti in Tanzania before draining into Lake Victoria.
Last week, Kenya said that it would go ahead with plans agreed on with Tanzania to build two dams on the river, one in Kenya and another in Tanzania, to control the flow of the water.
Tanzania’s Deputy Minister for Tourism Constantine Kanyasu however this past week told The EastAfrican that, as both countries have resolved to construct hydroelectric dams that experts say have detrimental effects in future, his ministry is planning to forward the matter to the ministerial committees.
“This matter is more a diplomatic issue and my office has no mandate to resolve it once and for all. We have to seek international arbitration from within East Africa,” Mr Kanyasu said.
Tanzania says that the dams will reduce the water flow into the Serengeti the heartbeat of Tanzanian tourism.

Tumezuia maziwa gani?
Tumefamefanya mambo gani ya ugomvi?

Naomba nieleweshw tafadhari.

RECCE Squad Commandos Training in Kenya

General Service Unit (GSU) Recce Squad Company is a Special Forces unit of the GSU comprising of an unknown number of soldiers with its headquarters is located in Ruiru.
Due to its secretive nature in how the Recce Squad execute their operations, their number remains unknown but their results speak louder in all their missions following very rigorous training that the “normal” man cannot stand.
The group was first known when it conducted one of its major operations in Kenya; during the Westgate attack by the al-Qaeda affiliated group, the Al Shabaab.
RECCE Squad training is done in Kenya and abroad. These elite soldiers go through highly regarded military training in countries such as the United Kingdom, Israel and America and once trained, this team of soldiers can be compared with the British SAS, America’s Delta Force, France’s EPIGN and the Israel’s Sayaret Matkal.
For the team to perform such operations as the one conducted at the Garissa Massacre, the Recce squad trainees attend the basic GSU training school in Embakasi.

Thereafter, those fit for this special unit and emerge as the best in academic and field performance undergo a further 7 month specialized training in VIP protection, handling and detonating explosives, security of vital installations, anti-terrorism, sky marshal (the counter terrorism unit on board commercial flights) and rescue operations.
After completion of the rigorous training, these elite soldiers are deployed in the three different units to provide support to the other field companies of the General Service Unit.
The GSU Recce Company units include the Sky Marshal unit. This is the undercover counter terrorist unit on board commercial flights to counter aircraft hijackings.

The second one is the Crisis Response Team. As the name suggests, this team of elite soldiers is always on stand-by to swing into action incease of an operation which has gone out of hand.
Last but not least is the Rendition Operation team mostly trained in Israel and America.

These are the ones we will send, notice they are not the army. They are the a unit of the kenya police. They are trained on infiltration & recovery and urban warfare. Then we have the administration police RDU unit who are skilled street warfare fighters with amphibious attack squads and aerial attack squads, trained to the level of an american seal team unit.
NB: These units are not the military, they are the police.
We also have the best intelligence agency in the region and probably only second to south africa in africa trained by Mossad and the CIA.

They are upgraded F-5 tactical fighters. Upgraded last year by boeing. We have about 18 of these fighters, 19 reconnaissance aircraft, several transport aircraft and around 102 helicopters utility and attack etc. These year kenya will recieve first batch of 19 F-16 strike eagles which were approved on recent visit by our minister in america during a bilateral meeting. These will replace the F-5 hornet as the tactical fighters in our fleet.

Kenya you don't have a single amphibious tank (Tank which can be used on water and on land), you will never have one in near future, prove me wrong.

Now you are exaggerating it was 170 and even the american military has lost soldiers in asymmetrical warfare. They were betrayed by locals.

Regional politics Haina afya kati ya Kenya na Tanzania... Na hii ni since day one 2015 alipotwaa nchi nanii.... Kuna namna wajuvi wa mambo tuling'amua hili

Kenya you don't have a single amphibious tank (Tank which can be used on water and on land), you will never have one in near future, prove me wrong.
This is the reason i say you guys need more training. You don't need an amphibious tank to perform an amphibious attack that is why KDF is the only military in Africa to perform an amphibious attack successfully in kismayo without an amphibious tank.

Kenya Defence Forces revealed how they unleashed their amphibious assault on Kismayu strong hold of Al Shabaab in their bid to neutralise the militants.

The soldiers and alongside Somali National Army (SNA) are part of the Amisom troops who have been engaged in the fight against the militant group linked to Al Qaeda.

The soldiers launched an amphibious beach attack at night which caught the militant unawares. Most residents were forced to stay indoors until mid morning as fierce exchange of fire rent the air.

Colonel Cyrus Oguna, Kenya’s military spokesman on Somali mission said Kenyan troops used “an amphibious operations which are complicated, delicate and highly dangerous to execute.”

“KDF and Somali National Army undertook meticulous planning on the operations and executed it with utmost effectiveness never before seen in Africa, “Oguna said.

"The operation is dynamic. We have been there for only a couple of hours. It is too soon to predict how long it will take," he said. It is also feared several

Part of the assault was aided by aerial firepower which pounded strategic locations of the Al Shabaab logistical installations.

KDF officers described the current situation in Kismayu as stable, and asked residents stay calm and controlled.

Back home Kenyans praised the soldiers for their patriotic efforts with the social media awash with motivational words for the troops.

Amisom commander Lt-Gen Gutti said the intent of the military forces in Somalia is to liberate the people of Somalia from militants and to enable them live in peace.

“Operations are ongoing to neutralize specific Al Shabaab targets in Kismayu,” Gutti said in a media statement.

“We urge all fighters in Kismayu to lay down their arms. In recent times a number of militants have contacted Amisom indicating their willingness to cease fighting and we have assured them of their safety if they give themselves up peacefully to our forces.” Gutti said.

Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta said on his twitter: “Our soldiers have done Kenya proud by doing what many have tried and failed. Let us continue keeping our soldiers in our prayers.”

I don't need empty words, I have given you a link which shows the number and type of fighter jets we received from China, even I showed you video clip which shows our jets flying, our amphibious jets on water and on land.

Show me links I will reads for my self, I don't need your explanations.

Kenya you have only six, very old F-5 fighter jets, actually they are not safe to fly, that's why KDF don't use them in Somalia regularly, after one of them was brought down by Alshababu and pilot was killed.
