Tanzania imeshindwa kulipia ada ya dola za kimarekani US$ 1,000 zilizotakiwa kulipwa kabla ya kuruhusiwa kushiriki mashindano makubwa ya Afrika ya mchezo wa volleyball.

Pia nchi ya Tanzania ilishindwa kulipia US$ 50 kwa kila mtu aliyetarajiwa kuwepo ktk msafara wa wachezaji na viongozi, kiasi hicho kingetumika kama malipo ya malazi kwa timu ya Tanzania.

Michezo ni diplomasia, ni siasa, ni eneo la kujijenga kishawishi kimataifa n.k ni eneo lingine linaloweza kutumika kama njia ya kuitangaza nchi kikanda na kimataifa, na ndiyo maana nchi nyingi hutumia fedha kuhakikisha nchi zao zinashiriki ktk michezo na michuano mbalimbali ya kikanda na kimataifa.

Tanzania removed from African Volleyball Championship​

The African Volleyball Federation has removed Tanzania from the ongoing CAVB Men's Africa Nations Volleyball Championship for failure to comply with their financial obligations.

Tanzania is understood to have failed to pay $1,000 participation fee and $50 per person per day for the 12 days meant for accommodation.

A statement from CAVB said that the team's removal is in accordance with the Africa volleyball confederation CAVB regulations.

As a result, Tanzania has lost their Group D game against Kenya by forfeiture, and will also not continue playing in the tournament.

The victory will be awarded to Kenya with a 3-0 score.

Tatizo ni kubwa zaidi ya hilo, hapa ni viongozi kukosa kujenga utaifa, uzalendo na kubeza Michezo bila kufahamu umuhimu wake kwa taifa na kimataifa.

Viwanja vya wazi kuporwa na CCM kuvigeuza maegesho ya magari mijini/ car parking, shule kukosa viwanja vyake vya michezo, kushindwa kujitayarisha vizuri kwa ajili ya mashindano ya kimataifa, dunia na olimpiki.

Kwa kifupi CCM na serikali yake haijuwi nguvu ya michezo kiafya, kiuchumi, kidiplomasia, kutangaza nchi nje, kujenga utaifa kwa kuwaunganisha vijana bila kujali itikadi, imani , rangi n.k

There is agreement in nationalism and identity scholarship that sport constitutes a major ritual of popular culture contributing to the theoretical concept of the nation as an ‘imagined community’ (Anderson 1991, 6-7; see also Barrer 2007, 223). Scholars from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds agree that sport has social, cultural and political significance in (re-)producing collective identities on a local, national, regional and global level. Historically, the study of sport and its interrelation with the ‘nation’ was pioneered by the disciplines of sociology, history and anthropology during the 1980s (see Birrell 1981; Hoberman 1984; Hargreaves 1986). Bairner (2015, 376) points out that compared to sport historians (see for example Cronin 1999) and anthropologists (see for example Váczi 2015), the extent to which sociologists of sport have contributed to our understanding of the various relationships that exist between the ‘nation’ and sport has been rather limited. This is due to the ‘tendency in the sociology of sport to take for granted such concepts as nation, nation-state, nationality, national identity and nationalism and to ignore debates about these concepts within mainstream nationalism studies’ (Bairner 2015, 375-6). TIMU YA TAIFA YA WAVU KWENDA RWANDA



Wanamichezo wametakiwa wametakiwa kuitambua thamani ya uwekezaji wa serikali kwenye sekta hiyo kwa kuongeza bidii na kupata mafanikio ikiwemo ushindi kwenye matukio mbalimbali ya kimashindano ndani na nje ya nchi wanayoshiriki.

Nasaha hiyo nzito inayowahimiza wanamichezo kuitia moyo serikali ili iendelee kuwasaidia wachezaji na timu za michezo mbalimbali nchini imetolewa na Afisa Michezo Mwandimizi kutoka Baraza la Michezo la Taifa Allen Alex wakati wa hafla ya kuikabidhi bendera timu ya taifa ya mchezo wa mpira wa wavu inayotarajiwa kuondoka usiku huu kuelekea nchini Rwanda kushiriki michuano ya mataifa ya Afrika.

Mwenyekiti wa chama cha mpira wa Wavu nchini (TAVA) Meja Jenerali Mstaafu Patrick Mlowezi Ametumia fursa hiyo kuishukuru serikali kwa kuchangia maendeleo makubwa ya chama hicho, nukuu ambayo imeungwa mkono na katibu Mkuu wake ambaye pia ameishukuru serikali kufanikisha safari hiyo ya Rwanda.

Msafara wa Tanzania kuelekea michuano hiyo unajumuisha watu kumi na nne, ikiwemo wachezaji kumi, kocha mkuu wa Timu hiyo, Meneja wa timu, Mwamuzi mmoja na mkuu wa Msafara kutoka Baraza la michezo
