As a country if we really need to be free, then we need to stop accepting free drinks.

The grave mistake most African coutries make including my own, is we enjoy free drinks from the White then we refuse when they want to own us, we forget that everything given for free has it's hidden agenda-people can't just give you things for FREE-they don't love you to that extent.

Imagine we have USAID, funding almost all programs and services regarding HIV in Tanzania, we have European Union, World Bank, funding different projects.

The bad things about these projects are that, they directly affect the citizens who are very poor; thus refusing them have direct impact, and we can't help but accepting them because we on our own can't do that.

One example, a full dose of Malaria Artisunate costs almost 100,000 but imagine it's given for free to the patients, because of the funding from the west, Antiretroviral drugs, ARVs are very expensive only few people can afford buying them, but thanks to the Whites we get them for free!

Yet, our politicians are constantly lying to us that we can run our countries on our own, using our own resources - how? We can't even make a bullet.

We don't even have industries and technology to manufacture things like ARV, ALU etc. We import everything from Europe and America and worse enough most of these items are given to us for free!

Let's be realistic, if we really need to be free from this sort of colonialism,we need to have great unselfish politicians, people who have vision, improve our education system, utilise our resources economically etc.

We must do something or else we'll never be free, the USA and Europe will constantly tell us what to do, when they want - we can't refuse, we don't have that capability.

We are donor country already, cant you see that even american themselves are become envious for our rocketed speed achievement accelerated by our world class president jpm? You have touched the green line. We need 5o change. Not only politicians but also the people. We have people who want what is already in plates. Let us restore our hopes to ourselves including our leaders. It is unfortunate that Africans understand Trump than their own leaders. How can we move forward. Chinese have gone that far because they believe in themselves.
