Tanzania To Participate In Kenya's Rugby Sevens

Sixteen teams including Tanzania and Botswana have tentatively confirmed participation in this years edition of the Safaricom Sevens. Top seeds of course are Kenya followed by last years' runners up the Emerging Boks. Interestingly, Argentina are seeded third and unknown entity Hamilton Raiders fourth. Eight African sides are included in the draw for the event that also serves as a pseudo African Sevens Championship.

Timu ya Taifa ya rugby ipo tangu mwaka 1954, inacheza michezo yake ya nyumbani kwenye viwanja vya Friedkin Recreational, Arusha ambako pia ndio makao makuu ya chama cha mchezo huu, TRU.

Wazungu wanaofanya kazi nchini hawawezi kuchezea timu ya taifa kwa kuwa sio raia na wapo kwa kibali maalum. Wanaweza kucheza rugby kwenye vilabu vya ridhaa kama Dar Leopards au Rhino.
