They have got to be kidding us !!!!!

Did you watch The idols east and southern africa auditions in Tanzania?? It was worse then the Nairobi!!! Only four of the many hopefuls pictured above were to chosen by the judges…Either Tanzanians can’t sing or what else??? some Tanzanians readers have emailed us saying that only few people in Tanzania were aware of this auditions, they blame idols for not having done enough publicity to promote the Competition. And we totally dislike those judges now!!!!

Idols EA is shocking.The judges are terrible. A BIG NO (to quote the judges) to Mnet for this terrible production. Tanzania has no talent, and frankly..the show is a total mess.

To the point, personally sikuifuatilia hii kitu, ila kama washabiki wanasema hatuna talent as TZ, nadhani ni swala la kwamba wabongo tunapenda kulipua na shortcut. Vitu kama hivi vinahitaji umakini na bidii ya hali ya juu. Ndo maana ni vema WHATEVER you do you should invest in all your energy and desire to succeed. I aint judging no body, but next time we should learn that no shortcut to success! Hawa wadada labda hawakupewa lecture kabambe ya kipi kinatakiwa, so nadhani si kweli kwamba hawana talent bali wahusika hawakuwapa somo kamilifu au hawakuwa makini kuchagua wahusika.

I had a chance to watch a clip briefly on 'eastafricantube' OMG it was a big joke if not a shame!Kwakweli sio kwamba naikandia Idol ya Tz ila ilikua ni kichekesho kama sio maigizo kuanzia waimbaji mpaka majaji. Nilimsikiliza Idol' Misoji akiimba wimbo wa Whitney, I couldn't stand, it was miserable nadhani hata Whitney angeweza kum-sue..I am serious am not exaggerating! Ila to my suprise alipata makofi ya nguvu na hongera nyingi kutoka kwa majaji wote nilibaki mdomo wazi kwa mshangao, na wala sikuendelea kuangalia walobaki. Ni vizuri kuanzisha show mpya Tz ila lazima tujiangalie tumejiandaa kiasi gani kuliko kuiga vitu ambavyo hatuna uwezo navyo! To me,that Tz idol, was a big rush which ends up being a shame to our country! Kama itarudiwa mwakani tafadhali Rita na wenzako be serious kama unataka kuanzisha kitu cha maana, put more efforts on it,spend some time research about it and come up with techniques to make it presentable, sio lazima tuwe na Idol kama hatuko tayari kuifanya iwe katika kiwango kinachokubalika.

Peoples please do not misunderstand Bongo Star Search with Idol ...

It is simply a BONGO star Search and not a Tanzania Idol Search.

The star who won was well known before the final announcement.

We saw Kitime clearly favouring her from the beginning and he once clearly mentioned that he was a good friend of her father who is/was a small time musician like kitime.

On the final day , the chief Judge clearly mentioned to one of the contenders, The guy who playing his own songs, that "she wished BSS had more than one winner". What does that mean if the results were not known before the final announcement?

In short, its a money making scheme and no more.

Watu wa Mnet walitangaza two months before ila kama unavyojua waTZ wengi hawana DSTV hivyo hilo tangazo hawakuliona mpaka lililotangazwa kwenye magazeti na Celtel wiki mbili kabla, it was a joke and shameful kwa sababu wale wenye uwezo wa kuimba hawakujitokeza walikuja undergroung MCs walikuwa frustrated na maisha kiasi kwamba unamuangalia mtu huwezi kumini kama yuko serious na alichokuja kufanya, hajui kuimba, hajui English maana walitakiwa watu wanaojua English, na wengine even clothes zilikuwa na hali mbaya sana. walimanage kupata watu wanne na wawili walipitia kwenye BSS.
