Looking at some peoples post on this forum I get the sense that they may have a naive view of the world. And especially relationships between the rich and the poor, people or countries.
The best place to get started is getting the book "Confessions of an Economic Hitman"
If you have two hours and a decent internet connection (oh crap I live in Africa ) Do take a look at Zeitgeist the movie 2. Just as some background more than 2 million people in the U.S. have watched this movie. Us in Africa we seem to get stuff later. Like we had no clue the last economic crisis was coming. Oh, by the way a second crisis might be on its way. This is well known in the western circles of influence. (Might!)
