This is very true. There are a lot of huslares regarding the ATM cards and the pins. Mostly important in the country like ours is for someone to ensure that he always hide his pin card during punching as you can actually transact but your card particulars can be obtained and they use a camera to get your pin. This is another way stealing the info and someones go to the lab and programme anyother magnetic card (hotel doors cards, etc) with your info and use the pin taken by camera to steal from your account.
