Tafsiri sentensi hizi za 'tenses' kwenda kiingereza ujishindie Kitabu chetu cha JIFUNZE KIINGEREZA KWA KISWAHILI. Ni mojawapo ya vitabu vilivyovunja rekodi ya mauzo ndani ya muda mfupi sokoni.

Kimsingi sentensi zote hizo zinamaanisha kitu kile kile isipokuwa katika sentensi ya pili kuna hali ya uendelevu wa kitendo yaani uimbaji wa huo wimbo umekuwa ukiendelea kwa muda mrefu. Kiingereza (hasa cha Kimarekani) hakina uwezo wa kutofautisha "aspects" hizi za kitendo kinachoendelea kwa hivyo sentensi zote mbili zitakuwa na tafsiri moja. Kuipata dhana ya uendelevu katika sentensi ya pili itabidi kutegemea vitu vingine kama muktadha n.k.

1. Has been (hali timilifu) haiwezi kuambatana na past tense sang. Inabidi kuwa "the song has been sung" na tafsiri yake ni " wimbo ume(sha)imbwa"

2. Kisemantiki haina maana kwa sababu wimbo hauwezi kuimba. Tafsiri ya sentensi yako ni "wimbo umekuwa ukiimba" kitu ambacho hakiwezekani isipokuwa pengine kwenye matumizi ya kisanaa kama kwenye ushairi na kwingineko.

In making present perfect continuous tense we use has/have + main_ing.
But there is difference in making active sentence, I have read other tentences above which are actually based on active because being is used in making active or passive sentences that is why I decided to make clarifications. For example, juma writes a letter.(active)
A letter is written by juma. Passive.

Example 2 juma is writing a latter. Active.
A letter is being written by juma.

A song has/had been singing - Wimbo umekuwa ukiimba? Tangu lini nyimbo zikaanza kuimba? Nawe unajiita mwalimu wa Kiingereza? You don't know and you don't know that you don't know (and this is very scary)

You are not a solution sir. YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM and a perfect example of all what is wrong with our floundering educational system. Inasikitisha sana kwa kweli!

Hakuna neno. Nilighafilika kidogo ulipojigamba kwamba eti "You are the solution" kwa watu wanaotaka kujifunza Kiingereza. Nisamehe mkuu kama nilionekana kutumia lugha ya kukwaza. Tuko pamoja!

Hata hapa bado kuna matatizo mkuu. Tatizo la kwanza ni kwamba sentensi za mleta mada zipo katika wakati uliopita hali endelevu - Wimbo ULIKUWA u-na/ki-imbwa. Wewe hapa umetumia wakati uliopo hali timilifu (has been) na wakati uliopita hali timilifu (had been). Ni wazi kuwa hizi sentensi zako haziwezi kuwa tafsiri sahihi ya sentensi za mleta mada.

Tatizo la pili ni kwamba kwa kawaida hali timilifu (has been, had been) huwa haiambatani na wakati uliopita kama ulivyofanya hapa. Mf. Chakula kimeliwa hatuwezi kutafsiri kama "*The food has been ate" bali "The food has been eaten". Hali kadhalika Wimbo umeimbwa hatuwezi kusema "The song has/had been sang" bali "The song has/had been sung" .

Bado naendelea kuamini kuwa tafsiri niliyoitoa katika comment #3 ndiyo tafsiri sahihi na yenye maelezo yanayojitosheleza zaidi.

Calm down mkuu. Hayo ya "we kichwa" yanatoka wapi tena mkuu? Mimi nilidhani kuwa tunaelimishana tu na lugha hii imekuja na meli na siyo yetu. Ni lazima kweli tugombane?

Kuhusu sentensi hizo kuwa na tafsiri moja soma maelezo yangu kwenye comment # 3. Kwenye vitenzi vya lugha kuna kitu kinaitwa "aspect". Huu ni uwezo wa lugha kuelezea kitendo kinavyotendeka (kimemalizika? kinaendelea? kimekuwa kikiendelea kwa muda gani? kitaendelea mpaka lini? N.k). Lugha nyingi za Kibantu, kwa mfano, zina uwezo mkubwa wa kuelezea aspects mbalimbali za kitendo kuliko Kiingereza. Tofauti ya hizo sentensi mbili hapo juu (Wimbo ulikuwa unaimbwa na wimbo ulikuwa ukiimbwa) ni aspects tu kwa sababu katika sentensi namba mbili kitendo cha uimbaji kimekuwa kikiendelea kwa muda mrefu. Vinginevyo sentensi zote ziko sawa kabisa. Hoja yangu ni kwamba Kiingereza hakina njia ya kuonyesha aspect hii ya uendelevu katika sentensi ya pili ndiyo maana sentensi zote zitakuwa na tafsiri moja. Ili kujua huo uendelevu katika sentensi ya pili itabidi uangalie mazingira ya matumizi (muktadha wake).

Badala ya kusoma na kuelewa hoja yangu (na kuijibu) wewe umeghafilika na kuishia kutoa povu. Halafu unaishia kudai kuwa hizo sentensi zimekosewa na mleta mada.

Elimu haina mwisho mkuu na tusichukulie kila jambo kuwa ni ushindani kuwa huyu kashinda nami nimeshindwa. Hatupo hapa kuonyeshana yupi anajua sana bali kuelimishana. Ukianza tabia ya kuikabili mijadala kwa lengo la kujifunza (na siyo kushindana) aisee utafaidika sana.
