Title: Situation in Kenya Will Not Impact Tanzania
Author: Jim Sinclair

Dear Friends,

The situation in Kenya has been making headlines lately, prompting questions from many of you regarding its potential impact on Tanzania. I want to state without reservation that the situation in nearby Kenya presents no problem whatsoever to the Republic of Tanzania which has a long history of stable, democratic government.

In my opinion, Tanzania remains the best place in Africa to conduct business and that's why we are there. My friend, Tanzanian President, Jakaya Kikwete, will not tolerate misconduct from inside or outside his country's borders - a policy that is enforced by the strongest military outside the Republic of South Africa.

At the request of the Kenyan people, President Kikwete is presently trying to negotiate a settlement of the issues that have caused the serious unrest in Kenya. Upon reflection, perhaps the U.S. could learn something from the Kenyans who refuse to have elections stolen from them without significant protest. I have promised my stockholders that no spin or lies will come out of this company under my watch and I assure you all the above is fact.

Respectfully,

Jim Sinclair

In my opinion, Tanzania remains the best place in Africa to conduct business and that's why we are there.

Kamwe wasidanganye. Wajiulize ..TZ is Best Place ... in africa nini imeifanya hivyo? Nini Kitaifanya isiwi hivyo?

Chamsingi Wanaoongozwa watajitwalia Uongozi mikononi mwao. Na Hapatakalika. Ujumbe kwa viongozi wetu: Wanafikiri kinachosemwa hapa hakiwezekani na wao wanaweza kuendelea kuwabeba wafanyabishara hoa kifisadi tu..huku wakisifiwa kijinga..na kushiba sifa na vijizawadi !!Ona viongozi wa kenya wanavyoshindwa kuwakilisha wananchi wao.WANACHI WAMEJIMWAGA MITAANI WANJIONGOZA WENYEWE!! Wawekezaji wasijivuie mikataba ambayo haijasimamia HAKI NA USAWA WA KIBIASHARA. Watizame Kenya palivyokaa sasahivi. Kuna nafasi ya kulindwa na mikatba feki? Hali kama hizo inabidi kuzizuia kwa HAKI ZA KIBISHRA NA FURSA SAWA KIUCHUMI. Na hilo ndilo tunalitegemea viongozi wetu walifanye. Na wawekezaji walione walitafakari na walitekeleze. Ni hapo ndipo unweza kusema.......
In my opinion, Tanzania remains the best place in Africa to conduct business and that's why we are there.

Tukisifiwa shida. Tukitukanwa shida! What is wrong with us?

La maana kuna ukweli hapo juu ya state yetu kuwa peaceful than most of African states.

Kama wawekezaji wanafaidika na mikataba yetu finyu, basi tuichambue hiyo mikataba na kuhakikisha imesimama imara and then sie wenyewe tufanye kazi kwelikweli sio malumbano yasioisha.

Ukiwa na muda jaribu kusoma maendeleo ya uchumi ya Singapore and compare that to Tanzania. Kumbuka founder wa modern day Singapore was a one of the friends of Nyerere from that part of the world.

My friend, Tanzanian President, Jakaya Kikwete, will not tolerate misconduct from inside or outside his country's borders - a policy that is enforced by the strongest military outside the Republic of South Africa.

Sisi ambao tunachangiwa vyandarua Davos! Mimi sikufurahia matamshi yake. Ni kilemba cha ukoka.

Mr. Sinclair, you might be correct as you speak as as an investor who I can say you do not know how Tanzania and Kenya relates in business. The impact is very huge. Those people living near Kenya boarder, Lake zone and Northern Zone are now feeling the heart of unrest situation in Kenya. The problem of our leaders is that they consider Dar es salaam as Tanzania. But price for various commodities have almost doubled. Only a week ago a bag of Cement has risen from Tshs 16000 to 20000 today.
The situation to Tanzania leaving near boarder areas is worse than you can imagine. No fight but our leaving are in question.

Such a name dropping, influence peddling bloodsucker.

Wahenga walisema, Familiarity breeds contempt. Sinclair akimwita hivyo in private sina matatizo nae. Lakini in public? No way!

mmmm!Nita amini vipi Kwamba kura ziliibiwa?

Nai ombea kenya Amani Furaha Na Utani..

This man does not know what he is talking about. Kenya is the second foreign investor in Tanzania(kama sijakosea) If Kenya is shutterd we are f...ed.
