Kwa macho ya kawaida unaweza kufikiri lengo la daraja hili ni kupunguza foleni ya Salender Bridge na kuwaondolea wananchi wa Dar kero ya foleni. La hasha daraja hili linalojengwa kwa gharama kubwa halitapunguza foleni kwa sababu watakaotumia daraja hili ni idadi ndogo sana ya wakazi wa jiji la dar es salaam.

Ukiangalia kwa jicho la tatu, lengo hasa ni kuwasaidia viongozi, mabalozi na wazungu wachache wanaoishi maeneo ya Osterbay na Masaki ambao hawazidi hata 200, labda wasikae kwenye foleni kwa muda mrefu wakichanganyika na walalahoi wa maeneo ya Mwenge, Kawe, Kunduchi, Tegeta, Boko na Bunju.

USHAURI: Kama lengo ni kupunguza foleni ya Salender Bridge ingefaa zaidi lijengwe daraja kubwa la nchi kavu kutokea maeneo ya Hananasifu au Magomeni hadi Muhimbili au Fire kuvuka bonde la Jangwani linalojaa maji kipindi cha mvua.

Daraja hili la Hananasifu - Muhimbili/Fire, lingehudumia watu wengi hasa wafanyabiashara wa Kariakoo na katikati ya jiji, ambulance, zimamoto na wafanyakazi wa kada za chini ambao ndio walio wengi, tofauti na daraja la Aga Khan - Coco beach ambalo litahudumia 'sana sana' wakazi wa Masaki na pengine kubaki 'idle' kwa kipindi kirefu.

Daraja kubwa la Jangwani si tu lingepunguza adha ya foleni ya Magomeni-Kariakoo/Posta lakini pia lingesaidia kupunguza magari yanayopita Salender Bridge.

Anyways kupanga ni kuchagua, tumechagua daraja la Coco beach kwa wadosi tukawaacha wa Mbagala wahangaike na foleni yao.

Raisi hamna kitu linajengwa daraja lisilo na umuhimu wowote ili iweje kwamba wazungu watakuja kutalii kwenye hilo daraja...!! Mme mzurumu mkulima wa korosho mnamlipa mkorea kwa daraja lisilo na tija hiyo ni sawa na starehe tu anasa

Sasa Buguruni mataa si anakaa traffic police ambae anatoa priority kwa highway(mandela road). Mbona hili halihitaji hata jicho la pili?

Hivi unapanua Daraja la jangwani kwenda wapi? Kama njia za kuingilia mjini ni chache. So inapotokea jam kwenye njia moja inayoingia mjini maana yake mmestuck. Hapa tunachoongelea ni kuongeza njia za kuingilia mjini kwa lengo la kupanua wigo ili kuwe na option nyingi za kuingia na kutoka mjini. Unapopanua barabara unaongeza tu flexibility tu ya magari barabarani lakini huondoi tatizo la msingi. Halafu kumbuka huo upanuzi kwa jiji la Dar lilivyo ni lazima utahusisha ubomoaji wa miundombinu ikiwemo nyumba za watu. Hivyo kuna gharama kwenye ulipaji wa fidia n.k

Sasa hivi munalipa kodi na kudai maendeleo ya madaraja mengi kila sehemu. Mbona zamani kodi mulikuwa munalipa na hamukudai hayo madaraja?

Sio kweli wengi tunaotokea Kawe au Tegeta tutapita pale karibu na ubalozi wa Wamerikani, pinda pale namanga msasani tokea kule cocobeach na kupita hilo daraja. Hakika walalahoi wengi tutalitumia hilo Daraja mku.

Huu ujinga wa kutengenezeana flyover za urefu wa kama pale Tazara halafu kutangaza zinasaidia kupunguza foleni ni kusababisha Tanzania nzima kuonekana machizi
Mkuu hili ni daraja la kawaida na si flyover. Ni daraja la kawaida linalovuka maji kama lile la Brooklyn Bridge na mengine kama hilo katika nchi zilizoendelea. Usilinganishe na zile flyover za nchi kavu zinazokwenda makumi ya kms.
