Siasa za utoaji PhD za Open University of Tanzania

Open university ni kama tuition centre tu pale maana mbali na bango sioni tofauti na shule ya sekondari fulani yenye A'lvel si kwa library, wala ubora wa elimu yake. Kimbembe ni hao Wahitimu wa hicho chuo ni balaa.
 
Mm nakumbuka zamani ili upewe nafasi ya utotorial ast. Pale UDSM ilukuwa mtu wa OPEN, MZUMBE, SUA. Zaidi ya hapo ilikuwa ni shida kidogo. Sasa mtasemaje kuwa OPEN sio chuo bora. Swali ni je OPEN unaweza linganisha na KIU???
 
It is clear beyound doubt that OUT is a statutory creature, not like SAUT,KIU,TUMAINI and the like which are rules/regulations creatures which can easily be sruck out at will by TCU. OUT is th best university in TZ, that it challenges its students to be more independent,inovative,researchers, broad readers as well. In matters of exams,(in OUT) the whole course outline is the area of concentration. While th common practice in other universities like inter alia UDSM, SAUT,UDOM, students are told areas of concentration for exams. This malpractice is based on the principle of SPOON FEEDING. As a consequence, some students from such universities are unable to write (in english) even a single page of assignment. Such an unprecedented state of affair if left unchecked is going to compromise th quality of products rolling from such aforementioned universities. Being mindful of that, somethong must be done to remedy such damaging situation. In a nutshell, these are kata varsities. I broadly dare to say without fear of contradiction that OUT is th best university ever. I am proud to be one of th best products of OUT. We guys of TZ always do like to sit back expecting to be spoon fed by our lecturers. We dont like to work hard to th extent that we enjoy glorifying colonial style of education which leaves us in the closed box. No discovery, no inovation. Doing the same thing in the same way, expecting different results. Wabongo we need to change. OUT is the only instrument of change. Note: I stand to be corrected
 
Those making rude allegations against OUT have no hard facts to establish their prima facie case.Their allegations are frivolous,vexous, speculative, lacking substance at all times as on record. They have totally failed to prove or demonstrate as to how OUT is entirely a weak learning institution in TZ. Their case is lacking weight of facts, but rather based on blah blah constructions. No rationale or philosophical underpinning justification of their accusations. The purported "title of PhD" supra has no supporting evidence to prove that it stems from OUT PhD titles' stock. From academic circles this is not an allegation but at most is an unchecked "gossip". I am proud to be OUT product.
 
The thread creator has raised two issues here. firstly, concerning OUT to award a honorary PhD to JK and secondly, a PhD tittle.
The fisrt case is true that OUT (like many other universities) has awarded JK a PhD in recognition of outstanding performance during his tenure. The issue that should ring here is "should universities in the world continue to practice this culture??" and not crying for OUT to do that.
The second issue needs evidence. How can we prove that the title mentioned is from OUT? could you make some efforts to even share the abstract of the same??
Sum up: Since the thread creator has shared issues that requires learned-analysis, he/she is very far behind in terms of research and being a graduate means you should understand issues that cut across academic arena in this world.

Sio kila kinachoandikwa huku au pengine popote ni cha kuamini,wakati mwingine watu wanasukumwa na sababu zao binafsi,kujiandikia chochote watachojiskia!
