Nchini Kenya kumetokea moto usiku wa saa 8 katika shule ya wasichana ya Moi iliyopo Kibera na kuunguza bweni hivyo kusababisha wanafunzi 7 kupoteza maisha na wengine kadhaa kujeruhiwa.
Taarifa kutoka kwa Waziri wa Elimu, Bw. Fred Matiang'i zinasema wanafunzi 7 wamefariki na 10 wako hospitali ambapo vifo na majeraha mengi yametokana na kukanyagana baada ya taharuki na wengine kuruka kupitia madirishani.
Taarifa toka kwa mashuhuda zinadai kuwa msaada ulikuja masaa 2 baada ya moto kuanza.

A fire broke out at 2am last night at a school in Kibra Constituency, Nairobi razing down a dormitory.
It was earlier reported that 16 students at Moi Girls School were hospitalised as police initiated investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
According to Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i, seven students have been reported dead and 10 others are still in hospital.
Most of the fatalities occurred as a result of the stampede and the students jumping out of windows.
According to witnesses, rescue services got to the school after two hours.
