I don't know why SADC is not promoting aggressively cooking gas in their campaign against climate change and deforestation.
Concentration is on the Electricity while majority of people in SADC don't use electricity to cook.It appears the SADC concentrates on Macro levels, priority being to get electricty for industries, SGR trains etc and forget Micro levels where need to use cooking gas to curb deforestation and climate change is of a Paramount importance.
I appeal to SADC to come down to micro levels in the issue of power and energy by making cooking gas agenda a priority also SADC countries should remove taxes make subsidies etc to make cooking gas available to all especially in rural areas
