Respect yourself

Are you among those who feel threatened when others shine their light on the rest of the world? Some think if you shine bright, it somehow dims theirs & gives them less opportunity to find their own success. The Almighty has given all a chance to be successful. Everyone of us!
 
No matter what you’re going through in life, always have faith in the Almighty. Trust that He wants the best for you, even if He doesn't give you exactly what you want, He's always taking care of your needs. You might not see it right away, but eventually it’ll all make sense.
 
Life comes at us fast & will throw up many challenges. Occasionally, it will hit us so hard that we feel like giving up. But remember the Almighty’s promise that with hardship comes ease; that trouble doesn’t last always. This is just a season; don’t quit. It can only get better!
 
Don’t waste time chasing after the world and its trappings. We will never be able to catch up because it will always be ahead of us. The problem comes when we make it our goal and not the means to the ultimate goal. Get the priorities right!

Take time to heal.....



Losing a loved one is not easy. Heartbreaks are not easy. They all take a toll on your physical and mental being. So be patient with yourself. Take time to heal but remember that whatever the Almighty takes away from you, He will surely replace it with something even better.

We live in a sad world. That’s the reality. We have people hating on others for being successful. They judge & criticize those who are trying to do better, get closer to the Almighty. The list goes on. Why can’t we mind our own business & just let people live? Is that so hard?
 
Words are powerful. They can make or break someone. So when you’re conveying a message you heard to someone else, be careful not to distort the original meaning. Some do this intentionally to create mischief between people. Save yourself and stay away from such sinful acts.
 
Life’s a process. It’s not something you can rush according to your schedule. Some parts of your journey will be more challenging than the rest. But you have to persevere and embrace every part of it. Do it with beautiful patience. The lessons learned are invaluable!
 
This is life in a nutshell. Do good and people will talk. Do bad and people will talk. So let them talk. Live your life the best way possible. Life’s really too short to be worrying about people who are jealous of you and will talk behind your back.

Not everyone will be happy for you. Stop sharing news of your blessings with all. Some people can’t handle it & they’ll do what it takes to ruin it. Remember, these people are insecure & feel threatened. Real friends should want the best for you even if you do better than them.
 
In the heat of the moment, a lot of things are normally being said, often without second thought; meaning people are just projecting their hurt onto others. Protect yourself as best you can from such occurrences. Take things with a pinch of salt. Don’t take them personally.
 
You often hear people ask what if things don’t work out? What they mean is, if things don’t happen the way they planned it. They forget that the Almighty is the best planner. He will make things happen in the best possible way for us. Better than what we wanted. Trust Him.
