PRESIDENT Jakaya Kikwete left Dar es Salaam on Sunday for Brussels, Belgium to attend the 5th edition of the European Development Days (EDD) opening on Monday at the Square Meeting Centre.
He is joining current and former Heads of State and Government from Europe, Africa and rest of the world; high-level representatives of governments, international organisations
as well as development practitioners, Non Governmental Organisations, media and
civil society at the two-day event which ends on Tuesday.
On his way to Brussels, President Kikwete had a stop over in Cairo, Egypt where he held
talks with his host President Hosni Mubarak which centred on the two countries mutual
relations as well as on international affairs.
