President Nyerere ''The day we find oil in Tanzania my grey hair will turn black again''

An Indian scientific team was assigned to look for natural gas on the Songo songo islands, in the south of Tanzania. at the end of their tour, the team called on President Nyerere at the State House to pay their respects. the leader of the team politely asked Mwalimu, 'we have heard that you have found oil in Tanzania. is it true?' Mwalimu was in good mood. he rubbed his hand on his head, and said, 'my friend, you see these grey hair. the day we find oil in Tanzania, they will turn black again' !!
