Je Huyu ni Mkuu wa mkoa wa Dar au Mayor wa New York? Hayo ni baadhi ya maswali niliyoulizwa na cousin wangu wa miaka 10.
My little cousin pay me a visit today, he ask me this question after seeing the official picture of Mh Makonda on winter jacket celebrating his 1 year anniversary in the office, he asked, where is he from ? London or New York?
And I said to him, he is from Dar?
He goes on to ask further question, Who is he ? He must be an important person! He exclaimed!
I said yes, he is important person in our country, a regional commissioner of Dar like a mayor in London or New York.
His face was like, what the heck!
After seeing his curiosity, I probe him with a question, what's the problem..
He goes on to say, that a little bit silly to dress like that, it is really hot here !
I told him Yah! The weather must be different in RC office, you know! The AC must have fooled him sometime, thinking he is in winter land.
He finished by saying, I would have understand if he would have dress up in summer attire or having picture taken with the Backdrop of Dar city or more importantly with the people he represent..
I said to him, my cousin you should be his stylist!
He said Nah! He should have asked Diamond..
