What is your favourite genre of music?
I like to listen to all genres although I lean towards reggae, Soul, Afro fusion, Jazz and Neo Soul.
What will you miss the most going into the Academy?
I will miss my family and most especially my mom because she inspires me to be more successful.
What will you miss the least from back home?
I will not miss the amount of stress that my work as an artist, Music teacher and producer entails.
Peter J Msechu

Bonge, as he is known back home, started his musical career at the tender age of 7 years singing in church with his father. At the age of 15, he was able to learn how to play the keyboard and learnt to play the guitar at age 20. Peter has a larger than life personality and loves to make people happy.
What is your favourite genre of music?
I like listening to ballads-music that tells a story. I admire the Kenyan afro-fusion artiste, Kidum because of his vocal range and band organization.
What will you miss the most?
I will miss my homies and family at home throughout this whole experience.
What will you miss the least?
My monotonous daily routine as he goes into the Academy.
Tusker project fame has claimed another Tanzanian victim out of the regional tournament pitting an array of musical talents....
She failed to attract enough votes ensuing after she was clobbered by "gaga" - a Kenyan by a single vote ..........from fellow contestants who were given the last opportunity to save one of their own....
This is a second stab for Leah who previous to that took part in another contest locally alias Bongo Talent Search....
On behalf of fellow Tanzanians may I welcome her home after a hard fought verdict....you are a true winner in our eyes..........but one thing is crystal clear........our representatives there have been exposed for lack of musical talent and we have to mull over on the dints we pick these contestants.........very weak vocal capabilities..........
