Hii Habari hapo chini ni safi sana nimeitoa huko ippmedia.
1) Mimi nina support mapendekezo ya a much more independent Electoral Commission
No body becomes a president by winning sympathy from voters but by being a true leader. Dr. Slaa ana ubinafsi na hafai kuwa kiongozi tanzaniania
CCM ina walakini mkubwa na na itahitaji viongozi makini wa upinzani. Sio maneno maneno ya uzushi.

Some academicians and activists yesterday advised opposition political parties to resolve their differences and unite if they want to be better place to challenge CCM in the 2015 elections.
They told The Guardian in interviews that it was extremely difficult for the opposition parties to defeat the ruling party if they didnt come together.
Such joints efforts would help push the government to write a new constitution, one of the contentious issues that has been attracting endless and hot debates, inside and outside the parliament.
Prof Abdallah Safari, an independent lawyer, said currently, there were many anomalies, which needed to be rectified, for instance, establishing an independent National Electoral Commission (NEC), saying such important issues required concerted effort.
He said disunity amongst the opposition political parties was an advantage for CCM.
According to Prof Safari it was a dream for the opposition parties to win the countrys presidency without changing the Constitution, which would facilitate an independent electoral body.
This is possible only if the opposition parties join together and challenge the ruling party, said Prof Safari.
He urged the opposition camp to desist from dividing Tanzanians along religious, geographical, tribal and racial grounds, as was reflected in the just ended general election campaigns.
This election was dominated by segregation campaigning which is a threat to national peace and integrity, said Prof Safari.
He noted that some opposition candidates opposed each others during campaigns, reflecting how difficult it was for the opposition parties to unite.
Tanzania Media Women Association (Tamwa) Executive Director Ananilea Nkya decried the delay in announcing the results, a situation which raised doubts on the part of the public.
She called on the electoral body to design a new system which will ensure early announcing of election results.
Dr Sengondo Mvungi said the system was not friendly to the opposition camp because it did not provide room to challenge the presidential results in court after being announced by NEC.
He said if the law allowed people to reject parliamentary election results in court there was no logic in restraining people from challenging the presidential results.
Mvungi said since the opposition had managed to increase the number of MPs, the impact should be seen when discussing serious matters.
