*Who are we?*

Sunshine Marine Lodge (will be open in February 2013) located on the
north-east coast of Zanzibar, in the northern part of Matemwe, close to
Muyuni Beach, just opposite Mnemba Island.

Situated on a beautiful cliff, in a unique and remote location, away from
other hotels, Sunshine Marine Lodge offers spectacular views of the
turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Atoll, one of the most bio
diverse coral reefs on Zanzibar.

Sunshine Marine Lodge is a sister hotel of the very popular and valued
Sunshine Hotel. The same team of designers and managers put their skills
and experience together when creating this stylish and eco-friendly chill
out place. It is a perfect get away for those, who would like to relax, be
active and explore away from the crowds .

The Lodge has three swimming pools, a wooden jetty and nicely arranged
areas with sun beds or hammocks, ideal for sunbathing or reading a book in
a shade of an umbrella. During the low tide a sandy beach appears under the
cliff, just in front of the hotel. We will bring the sun beds down there,
so for few hours a day, our guests can enjoy the sun on the beach and
observe the marine life.

Sunshine Marine Lodge is the excellent place for divers, snorkelers and
those who would like to try diving. The Lodge has its own professional PADI
Dive Center, Dive Point Zanzibar. Thanks to its location it has an easy
access to the dive sites around Mnemba Atoll, regarded as the best diving
place on Zanzibar and the very interesting north-east coast reefs.

Muyuni beach is one of the last undeveloped and unspoiled beaches of
Zanzibar. This beach is about 700 meters from the hotel and it can be
reached by foot (on the low tide), by bike or car. The beach is perfect for
sunbathing, picnics walks and swimming during low and high tides. Its
powder white sand washed by clear waters of Indian Ocean, make it one of
the most beautiful and scenic beaches on Zanzibar.

In Sunshine Marine Lodge we have:

- 15 Sunshine Suites

- 4 Blue Wave Suites

- 2 Blue Breeze Suites

- 2 Panorama Suites

In every room you find a comfortable queen size bed with large mosquito
net, private bathroom with shower and toilet, effective ceiling fan, strong
standing fan, small bedside fan, safe deposit box, stone bench covered with
cushions, wooden wardrobe, cool ambient lights, spacious balcony or
veranda. From their balconies and roof windows the panoramic

view to the Ocean is simply breathtaking.

ECO-ndition

Please note that we do not have air conditioning in our rooms. Our Lodge
aims to be eco-friendly and was specially designed to use the ocean breeze
to cool down the rooms (like sultan palaces in the past).

Internet

We have wireless internet for our guests. It does not cover the whole Lodge
and the best reception is in the restaurant. Please note that it is not
very fast and not very reliable.

Restaurant & Bar.

Our restaurant and bar serve a wide variety of delicious fresh foods and
drinks. Guest are invited to relax with a drink, read a book or play a game
in the bar or the lounge areas around it: on the upper deck and in the rock
garden.

KARIBU!

Eva
