Kwanza napenda kutanguliza shukrani zangu za dhati kwenu kwa kushare different ideas bila kinyongo, nasi tunapitia mawazo,changamoto kuhakikisha tunafanya vzur zaidi

Binafsi hua nashughulika sana na kulima japo sio shamba kubwa sana ni wastani wa heka 7 tu huu mwaka ni wa pili nimeanza kulima mwaka jui nililima maharage ya njano na msimu huu nililima Mahindi na tayali nimeshavuna

Katika kulima kwangu naweza sema nalima kienyeji kwa maana nalima bila kujua mambo ya Soko la mazao ninayolima yaani nasubili msimu kisha nalima bila kujipanga kua mazao hayo nitaenda kuuzia wapi na nitamuuzia nani? Naweza kusema sio Mimi pekee ila asilimia kubwa ya wakulima hapa nchini tupo hivyo

Katika kulima kwangu maharage niliuza kwa walanguzi kwa bei ya chini kabisa na kwa hasara kabisa kwakua nilishindwa kupata soko.
Lakini mwaka huu Nina gunia 80@120kgs za Mahindi hadi sasa zipo gharani na bado sijajua soko litakuaje

Hili tatizo sio kwamba Mimi peke yangu Bali ni kwa wakulima wengi

Sasa naomba tusaidiaje kujua

Njia sahihi ni kutafuta soko la uhakika njee na ndani ya nchi.
 
Me nahisi kwa kilimo cha msimu utafutaji wamasoko uwanze week mbili au tatu kabla ya kuvuna,pia kutumia mitandao kama njia ya kujulisha umma ulicho nacho pia inasaidia kufikia muuzaji sio dalali.

Usisahau pia kwamba kuna market forces nyingi sana zinazoathiri bie ya mazao.

Usisahau pia kwamba kuna market forces nyingi sana zinazoathiri bie ya mazao.

Soko kubwa la wakulima ni MADALALI au watu wa kati.........hawa jamaa ndio wanafaidi biashara ya kilimo.

Hawa jamaa wamejitengenezea kamrija kao ka kuwakamua wakulima, kuwashinda hawa jamaa ni next to impossible na haswa kwa mazao yasio kaa muda mrefu kama mboga mboga.

Niliwahi kulima bamia zikatoka balaa nikasema ngoja nizipeleke mwenyewe sokoni nikakodi gari....fitna niliofanyiwa na madalali kidogo nikimbie maana hata hela ya kulipia gari ikawa mtihani.

Mainly there are common four types in which a farmer can use so as to sell their produces at a reasonable possible returns as follows;
✓Cash/spot market

Establishing price today,but you deliver the commodity today/very soon as a farmer.
°Examples,
Farm gate markets,which describe a direct marketing method where by farmers sell agricultural produces mostly food directly to the consumers, restaurants/caterers and independent retailers.In which consumers, restaurants and independent retailers come to the production sites and purchase agricultural commodities.

Farm gate sales,are commontyepe of marketing found throughout traditional small farming system.namely sales of vegetables from the vegetarian production unit.

N.B:a farmer is price talker so it's very riskiest method.

Advantage of cash/spot market.

-easy to transact
-immediate payment
-no set quantity

✓Foward contract (informal agreement between seller and buyer)

Establishing price today,but you deliver 8n the future.actually, it's customized contract between two parties to buy/sell agricultural produces at a specific price on a future date.

Usually,buyer and farmer agrees on quantity, quality, delivery time, delivery location as well as price.This should be written contract.

N.B:It eliminate the price volatility.

Advantage of forward contract

-easy to understand
-flexible quantity
-lock3d in price
-minimize risk

✓Future contact (formal agreement/regulations are in place)

Establishing price today and deliver in the future/offset obligation.
In these market,one Cana buy /sell a contract for a precisely defined commodity to be accepted/delivered at a specified future exchange.

But,in the case of good method actually it depends with farmers itself mostly they tend to use forward contract (smallholder farmers in developing countries)/future contract (larger farmers in developed country).

Advantage of future contract

-easy to enter and exit
-minimize risk
-often better price than forward contact

✓Options contracts
Not interested by most of the farmers.

Advantage of options contact

-pric3 protection
-minimize price
-benefit if price rise
-easy to enter)exit

GENERALLY,I recommend future contact as the best method for farmers rather than forward contract and other methods.

Ukilima mahindi uwe mvumilivu, Mara nyingi mahindi bei huwa chini, mahindi yanalimwa na watu wengi sana hapa TZ ukiona bei imepanda ujue kuna mahala mvua hazikunyesha.Mvua zikinyesha nchi nzima bei huwa mbaya sana.
