Pius Msekwa got his Bachelor degree in History (BA. History) from the University of Makere, Uganda in 1960 and a degree of Law from the Open University of Tanzania. In 1973 to 1974 Pius Msekwa joined the University of Dar es salaam for Master’s studies in Political Science.
Employment History.
Pius Msekwa was a Honorary Professor at the University of Dar es Salaam in 1976, The Chairman of Tanzania Law Commission (Msekwa Commission) in 1975 -1977 and the Vice Councillor of the University of Dar es salaam in 1970- 1977. Also he was a member and Vice Chairman of the Tanzania Electoral Commission in 1962 to 1980.

Hon. Anne Semamba Makinda is currently serving as Speaker of the National assembly and the Member of Parliament for South Njombe constituency in the fourth government phase. She was born on 26 July, 1949 in Njombe District, Iringa Region.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND.
She went to Uwemba Primary School in Njombe and Peramiho Girls Secondary school in Ruvuma in 1957 to 1964 and later on she joined Masasi Girls’ secondary school for ordinary education in 1965-1968. After secondary education Hon. Makinda joined Kilakala Girls’ High school for advanced level studies in 1969 and 1970 then to the Institute of Development and Management (IDM) Mzumbe for Advanced Diploma in Accountancy in 1975. Later on she took a certificate for Pre CPA Course at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM).
EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND.
Hon. Makinda before elected as the speaker of the National Assembly in 2010, She was a Chair Person of Board of Directors of Tanzania Tea Board in 2010, Chairperson of Board of Directors of Tanzania Property and Business Formalization Programme in 2012 and the commissioner for Ruvuma Region in 1995-2000.
Also Hon. Makinda was the Minister for Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children Affairs in 1990 -1995, The Coordinator of Union matters, the In charge of Central Government in the State, Prime Minister’s office and the In charge of Information and Broadcasting from the year 1983 – 1990.
POLITICAL CAREER.
Hon. Makinda started her political career in 1965 as Chairman of Tanganyika African National Union (TANU) Youth League at Kilakala Secondary School, also at the Institute of Development Management – Mzumbe, Morogoro , the Member of Parliament representing Youth in 1975 -1995, Chairperson of Tanzania Women Parliamentary Group in 2000-2010 and also the member of the National Executive Council from 1977 to date.
Also she was the Deputy Speaker of the Tanzania National Assembly in 2005 – 2010 who led the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Women Parliamentarians Advocacy Mission to Lobby for the Increase of Women representation to 30 % in their respective Parliaments in Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia.
Hon Makinda also led the delegation of SADC Parliamentarians Observer to Botswana in the 2009 elections and was the Deputy Chairperson of SADC parliamentary Forum in 2008 -2010. Job Yustino Ndugai (born 21 January 1960) is a Tanzanian politician who has been Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania since 2015. Previously he was Deputy Speaker from 2010 to 2015.[1]
Early life and education
He was educated at Matare Primary School, Kibaha Secondary School and Old Moshi High School.
Political career
He has served as the member of parliament for the Kongwa constituency since 2000. Ndugai was named as the most active MP in the 9th Tanzanian Parliament.
Ndugai was Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly from 2010 to 2015. He was elected as Speaker of the National Assembly on 17 November 2015. He received 254 out of 365 votes
