Myth shattered: Kibera numbers fail to add up

It's very true that we'll be mark timing, and the reason behind is comparing ourselves with a 'sick person' Kenya. It's very pity, many Jukwaa members make kny as a bench mark. something cha kushangaza.

i am not denying that we have big problems in Kenya (especially poverty), what I can say is that at least the government has realised that and unlike many African countries we are taking initiatives no matter how long it took us, to deal with that. we are developing measures to sort our housing problems (by building high-rises to replace slums, and now the council of Nrb wants to phase out its small houses by building storeyed buildings), to deal with unemployment (kazi kwa vijana), hunger (Tana Delta irrigation, boreholes and water pans all around the country), distribution of national resources (CDF, which trust you me, you have no choice but to emulate, it has tangible results), new constitution to sort out past problems and chart a new way forward.

Yes we are in so many ways imperfect, what you ought to do is emulate the good things we have and ignore the rest, your goverments knows better than you and that is why its sending its engineers to come and see the Thika road project. All am saying is, whether you emulate us now or not, it will reach a point where you wont have a choice but to follow our steps.
Excuse my typo's and grammar, did this in a rush.

I totally don't see anything to emulate from poor Kenya. An economy dominated by foreigners (white, Indians and Somalis and few politicians -mainly kikuyus. I would rather emulate a country which has managed to address inequalities among its people, a country which has manged to curb crimes. Who would like to emulate a country so eaten by tribalism, nepotism and political corruption? I would rather emulate countries with good redistributive policies and good economic empowerment policies. In Kenya the the ends justify the means. I hate this idea of telling Tanzania to emulate a patient like kenya. Do you want us to emulate land grabbing and then look for a federation to empty our landless people? Who said Kenyans are the model of hardworking?. Why dont we emulate our Tanzanian entrepreneurs such as Ernest Massawe who co-founded Ernst &Young? why not emulate Michael Shirima the founder of precision air? why not Reginald Mengi, the east African media mogul? why not Bhakressa- the grassroots entrepreneurs? I just this idea of comparing Tz with patients. !!!QUOTE=Smatta;1083016]i am not denying that we have big problems in Kenya (especially poverty), what I can say is that at least the government has realised that and unlike many African countries we are taking initiatives no matter how long it took us, to deal with that. we are developing measures to sort our housing problems (by building high-rises to replace slums, and now the council of Nrb wants to phase out its small houses by building storeyed buildings), to deal with unemployment (kazi kwa vijana), hunger (Tana Delta irrigation, boreholes and water pans all around the country), distribution of national resources (CDF, which trust you me, you have no choice but to emulate, it has tangible results), new constitution to sort out past problems and chart a new way forward.

African, you still have that Ujamaa hangover, that sh*t that makes you lazy but still envy what your neighbor (in this case Kenya) has, that thing that made you shun education for decades and now you have xenophobic sentiments when foreigners take a chunk of your jobs. No need to hate son, we dint tell you to copy sh*t from us, we are charting our own course, making progress despite the facts that all the odds were against us. Like it or not, we are G.O.O.D at whatever it is we do, doesn't matter what it is, we give it our all.

Tanzania will keep mark timing unless a miracle happens, what do you have to show for all the years of peace that you've had?? All the minerals, land and good weather?? nothing man, you are as poor or maybe poorer than us, despite all we have gone through as a country. You nigg*s stay loosing, and the problem is you think you are doing fine. I shake my head reading some of y'all posts.

....There could only be one reason why TZ is not progressing, they know too much of Kenya than what they know of their own country. That's the opposite with Kenya (+Uganda)

Huo ni uongo, historically we know much SADC members, than EAC members. That is why if you go to tz you will find places like Solomon Mahlangu, Flerimo, swapoKambi, n.k this shows the strong ties that exist with the southern neighbors.

Hivyo ndivyo tunavyowajua.

Hehehehehe,,... amini usiamini, na mentality kama zako walahi CCM itatawala Tanzania miaka zaidi ya ishirini toka sasa, kama nyinyi ndio mnaompigia upato daktari Slaa, then you are doing a pretty bad job. siasa yenyu bado changa, mlitucheka wakati tulipokuwa na vurugu mwaka 2007, mkisahau the old adage that says, who laughs best laughs last, mna uswahili mwingi wakuangalia mambo ya wenzenu wakati nyumba yenyu yenyewe haifai. sisi tulikuwa na ukabila, hiyo generation, ile ya akina Kibaki, Moi, Njenga Karume, etc, ndio tunamalizana nayo this coming election, nyinyi ndio seeds za Udini zinaanza kupandwa, if you wount change, then the once beautiful country will go into smokes, na population yenyu kubwa ya watu ambao hawajawahi ingia darasa, it will be so hard to cool them down. Mnasema you have nothing to learn from us, mimi na sema you have everything to learn from Kenya, Tanzania ni Kenya ya 1999, wakati ambapo multipartism was introduced na mbegu ya ukabila ukapandwa. I am not the one to wish bad on the next brother, but truth be told, you are still way behind us... Y'all fruits do agree with smatter, right?

Pia ukiseme mimi mswahili naringia kuitwa hivyo, kwa maana ni jina linalotokana na lugha yangu, which i master most.
Kama wewe unavyoringia kuitwa mknya.

Unamaanisha nini unavyosema ''you were not serious........''

Simply, it's daft. Moving on swiftly:
