For the tank to be full we take
8 minus 6 =2(this is time in which some amount of water is stored in a tank per flowings
6hours÷ 2hours = 3
Then
To get how long the tank can be full
3 × a time in which tank use it
to store some amount of
water
= 3 × 8 hours
= 24 hours

Ans The time taken to fill water in a tank is 24 Hours
