While Zimbabwe's economy is in freefall, with superhyperinflation and a workers strike.....
Mugabe throws a $ 500,000 birthday bash, complete with Johny blue label ( $70 200 ml, $ 170 750 ml, King George V Edition 750ml $ 500) caviar, lobster and Chivas Regal!
Oh, yeah, and to complete that Jamaica-Zimbabwe legacy (Remember Bob sang at independence?) he flew in none other than the controversial Sizzla Kalonji, a statement against the west in itself.
While Zimbabweans are starving!

Mugabe throws lavish birthday bash
HARARE, Zimbabwe, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe celebrated his 86th birthday Friday with a nearly $500,000 birthday party broadcast live on state television.
The 12-hour fete featured Jamaican reggae singer Sizzla Kalonji, who was flown to the economically destitute country for the occasion, The Daily Telegraph said
Guests dined on lobster, prawns and caviar, and sipped Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Chivas Regal Scotch whiskeys.
Mugabe's actual birthday was Sunday.
Many in the rival Movement for Democratic Change party called the celebration tasteless considering the country suffers acute poverty, the British newspaper said.
Tendai Biti, MDC finance minister under the country's shared governance system, refused to allocate public funds for the party, officials said, so funds were raised from private sources and countries aligned with Mugabe's ZanuPF party.
