MILLING AND PIG FARMING AGGREGATE PROJECT
Introduction;
This is a minor local conglomerate project chiefly involving owning and commercially operating milling machines which husk and/or grind food crops of local villagers, and at the same time in the immediate vicinity owning and running a pig farm.
The most important theme of this aggregate is that the husks which in our Tanzanian case are soft rice husk and maize husk are used to feed tens of pigs everyday in the near built pigshed creating a loop of free self running system.
EXPOSITION OF A MILLING SITE
As far as this project thematically is concerned, the milling site to run this project should be chosen in rural and of course interior site where inhabitants find it hard to travel long distances to grown towns or centers to meet their milling needs. This is done so in order first to obtain cheap and vast land of not less than 5 acres to run a whole conglomerate.
Most of interior areas are rarely supplied with electricity services therefore opting for diesel-run huskers is ideal and inevitable in this case.
Buy or purchase a land not less than 5 acres and allocate half an acre, prepare and stand a fortified and modern building to house several milling machines ;
This project plan is thought to stand and stay for several decades therefore everything that's chosen to be part of it should be a high quality asset.
After a building is stood, the aforementioned machinery items should be bought and installed in a building.
After everything is installed in a building, it is recommended to prepare a motor-vehicle to transport diesel fuel to the site and prepare transport infrastructure for easy accessibility of retail pig buyers from near centres and wholesale buyers from far towns or regions.
Well everything is well, let's now head to the pig-shed.
EXPOSITION OF A PIG FARM
A pig farm makes an important complementary part of this project.
A pig shed has to be built just near the milling site, allocate more than half an acre and build a fortified and modern pig shed, high cost is inevitable.
Pig shed should be built as vast as possible even though it won't accommodate all pigs at the first time.
Just to make things more accurate and formal, it is recommended to consult other famous and successful pig farmers for the best pig shed design, Also it is better to consult veterinary specialists for any advice on the design of a pig shed.
Despite the advice from specialists and other pig farmers, remember that , first pig faeces accumulate day after day therefore try as much possible as it can be, to design infrastructures that will make collection of faeces easy and smooth, second is, pig faeces is a good farm crop manual so it's good to reuse it in near crop farms.
Also remember that not everyone is attracted to pigs as far as islam belief is concerned therefore after standing a pig shed, it is better to build an enclosure wall just around a pig shed and don't make things look like there are pigs farmed inside so you don't repel customers for crop husking at the milling site.
Just before we move the buying of pigs let's outline some very essential entity ;
On a big project like this water is very important, therefore as living in a developed world where technology eases and minimizes things and tasks every day, as usual all is done here is modern and of course cost effective.
In this project model a very deep well has to be dug, and now in order to add something to a cost effective slogan, solar panels and solar-run motors are installed, just near the well a strong platform is built to hold two water tanks high, above which stand the solar panels to capture sunlight for electricity energy for the motors, everything will be costly at the beginning but in course of time every single entity will be running the other, just so easy and without external cost, no liabilities no debts just more profits on a big mind project plan like this.
Okay, after a well is thoroughly completed, water pipes should be wired everywhere necessary and essentially in the pig shed to supply water where is needed.
After a pig shed is built and water is made available, let's now head to the pig themselves.
For the best pig farming results, buy giant pigs and make a research on which pig breed rejects and endures diseases so much, and which grows faster compared to other breeds, again, for better results high cost is inevitable.
Read pig farming books, connect with successful pig farmers and veterinary specialists, and everything in a projet will stay on a peak.
As per scale of this project, personally I recommend to buy ten best breed and giant pigs, two males and eight females.
Now every thing is set up, buy and bring pigs to the shed, run the milling site and watch as you smoothly make money on the milling site and feed pigs their favorite fattening food which is husks. Second, no one will charge you over the electricity or water bill you spend on your project, it's all run by solar energy in which case you appear to spend very little money on the maintenance of tools used.
As a project begins, the other part of land is used as a farm for pig foods especially pumpkins which for the little experience I have they too are the favorite most food of pigs, never mind, experienced pig farmers will teach you how to farm and store it to even a year, also connect and consult veterinarians and pig farmers and ask them on other plants pigs prefer most to feed on.
Also, in course of time since most of Tanzanian land supports sunflower agriculture especially in Singida region, a portion of the remaining land may be used to stand a sunflower press oil site and therefore make another shot to the target. Just as usual people will crowd to the site to press oil from sunflower, and most importantly of this is, the by-product of sunflower oil pressing which is sunflower oilcake / sunflower meal (mashudu) is another highly nutritious and fattening food for farmed animals especially pigs, so having a sunflower oil press machine in the project is another major importance for the project just obtained as free as that.
We all know that every project gets bumpy at the beginning but wait for just quarter a year and watch marvelous and mega profits this project will return to your bank account, very simple businesses mindset "THINK OF AN PLAN THAT WILL MAKE A PROJECT RUN ON ITSELF"
