There will be a UNCCD 2nd Scientific Conference to be held under the thematic topic of "Economic assessment of desertification, sustainable land management and resilience of arid, semi-arid and dry sub-humid areas". The conference will provide scientific guidance to governments and non-governmental actors alike, on why they should and how they can, together, reverse current trends on Desertification, Land Degradation and Drought (DLDD), support affected countries and communities to improve their land management practices and increase resilience. The Conference will take place in FORTALEZA, BRAZIL.
