A MAN found dead on a grass verge alongside the A45 has been identified as a 38-year-old from Coventry.
Police today identified the victim as Said Othman.
His body was found on Tuesday by council workers clearing the grass verge between Coventry and Rugby.
Toxicology tests are being carried out to determine the cause of his death after a post mortem proved inconclusive.
The post mortem showed 71 large packets of a substance believed to be the drug cocaine were concealed within his body.
The suspected drug has now been sent off for forensic analysis.
Police are working ports and airports to try establish where the victim had been before he died.
Said was last seen by his wife at their home in Coventry on March 17.
Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious on the A45 Coventry- bound carriageway between the Thurlaston and Stretton on Dunsmore roundabouts during the 24 hours up to 9am on Tuesday March 25 when the body was found.
