Ndugu swala si kufaulu tu hata kama kijana kashindwa mtihani. Swala la mitihani si la kisiasa: Kushindwa ni kushindwa na kufaulu ni kufaulu. Kitaalamu ni kuwa wanafunzi katika shule zatu nyingi hawakufundishwa, hakukuwa na walimu na vifaa vya kutosha. Kwa hiyo ni mambo ya kisera na kiutekelezaji. Upanuzi wa elimu ya msingi na sekondari ulifanywa kisiasa sawa na enzi za UPE 1970s-watawala wetu huwa hawajifunzi kwa makosa waliyoshuhudia awali. Sasa wazazi na wanafunzi ni lazima kuibana serikali kuboresha shule zao

Mimi nimepokea haya matokeo kama vile serikali iliwahadaa watanzania hasa wa vipato vya kati kwa kuwafanya wawatoe watoto wao kwenye shule za binafsi (zenye walimu lakini ada kubwa) na kuwapeleka shule za umma (ada kidogo na hakuna mwalimu). Ninaye ndugu yangu amejibana kuuza mkaa kumgharamia mtoto wake hizo shule za kata mpaka mtaji umekata na alichoambulia kwa mwanae ni ZERO.

Mbatia ametumia uhuru wake wa kujieleza kuwasilisha mawazo yake. Wewe kama una mawazo mbadala wasilisha ili wadau tunayachangie badala ya kuita ya mwenzio kuwa ni pumba. Watanzania wengi tuna maumivu na haya matokea kwani yamewaweka watoto/wadogo zetu katika hali ambayo hawawezi kusaidika tena. Naomba ufahamu baadhi ya wahitimu wa shule za kata walichaguliwa katika mchujo wa pili (second selection) na baadhi yao tayari walikuwa wameshapelekwa shule za binafsi. Uchungu wa wazazi ni kuwa watoto wao walipochaguliwa katika mchujo wa pili walifurahi sana kwamba gharama za kusomesha watoto wao zimepungua....matokeo yake watoto hata sifa za kusomea ualimu/uaskari hawana.
Mkuu Geza ulole, palipo na ukweli lazima usemwe, yeye mbatia kwa nafasi aliyonayo kwa jamii si wa kukurupuka na kutoa mawazo kama mtoto mdogo. Kama kulikuwa na matatizo ya usahihishaji mbona wengine wamefaulu vizuri. Alipaswa kujua nini tatizo la kufeli sana mwaka jana. Tatizo hili lilianza toka 2008 hawa ndio walofeli sana form 2 ila kwa sifa waziri akawaruhusu kuendelea form 3, badala ya kurudia. Sasa, kweli mtu mzima mwenye akili ulitegemea mtu aliyefeli form 2 aje afaulu form 4 hata kama mtarudia kusahihisha mitihani mara 10? Na kama watarudia na kuchakachua matokea kama kawaida yao ili ufaulu uongezeke ndio watalikuza tatizo badala ya kulitibu. Ni upuuzi kurudia kusahihisha tena mitihani ya watu ambao mna uhakika hawawezi kufaulu. Ila na huyu jamaa kwakuwa ndie mwenyekiti wa NCCR na haya ndio mawazo yake, inabidi niwe na wasiwasi na hicho chama :twitch:!!!!
 
NCCR calls for fresh exam marking

NCCR-Mageuzi has requested the government to critically examine the just released Form Four examination results and look into possibilities to have the examination papers re-marked and graded.

Addressing a press conference in Dar es Salaam on Sunday, NCCR-Mageuzi National Chairman, Mr James Mbatia said massive failure at the rate of more than 50 per cent was catastrophic and unacceptable.

"It is time the government sought advice from religious denominations, particularly the Roman Catholic Church, on teaching methodology and strategies that made their students perform impressively in national examinations," Mr Mbatia suggested.

However, the political party leader laid blame on the government for allowing the education gap to widen between children from well-to-do families and those from low-income brackets.

"The difference is obvious and was reflected in the just announced examination results. It is disturbing to note that only 11.5 per cent of the 352,840 students who took National Form Four Examinations last October passed," he said.

The National Examinations Council of Tanzania last week announced that 40,388 students out of 352,840 attained between First and Third Division results and 310,826, equivalent to 88.5 per cent had Fourth Division and failure.

"In serious matters like education, the government should give serious answers as well. We do know, education is a treasure that must be handled with utmost care. A strong education base paves the way for higher levels of success," Mbatia observed.

He queried the training of a secondary school teacher for hardly three months, who is then 'forced' to teach as a professional.

He also cautioned on a looming danger if the host of Form Four leavers who did not qualify for further studies was left alone to fight for their survival. "They need to be assisted. Let the examination papers be corrected again to avert confusion," he said.

According to the politician, one of the shortcomings, in the current education system, was lack of consistency, saying newly appointed education ministers introduced changes which might not even be of benefit to the nation.

Mr Mbatia declared his intention to submit a letter to the Prime Minister to express his views and share possible solutions.

Angalieni huu upupu mwingine wa Mbatia! kusahihisha tena mitihani maana yake ni kushusha passing marks na sidhani kama inasaidia Taifa hili katika kutengeneza competent citizens ambao wataweza kuhimili soko la EAC! Wanasiasa wakae mbali na elimu aliyeondoa mitihani ya Form II akili zake si nzuri! Kinachotakiwa kufanyika hapa ni kuanzisha utaratibu wa kuzipatia shule vitendea kazi na walimu wawe wa kutosha na walipwe vizuri na wapigwe msasa kwenye stadi na mbinu za ufundishaji na wasambazwe katika hizo shule zilizofanya vibaya!
