Waislam tulianza mbali kwanza ilikuwa kuwaelimisha Waislam kujua hatari inayowakabili maana Sheikh Malik (Mungu amrehemu) alikuwa akisema kwanza waelimisheni Waislam kuhusu dhulma vinginevyo mkianza kuidai haki bila ya Waislam wenyewe kujua dhulma hao mnaowadaia watakupigeni vita.
Subirini zitakuja nchi hii kamisheni kuja kuchunguza ukweli. Siku hizi hawasubiri mpaka vita ianze kama
Rwanda ndiyo waje.

Nakushukuru kwa kunivua dhima ya "vita."

Mimi namjibu Nguruvi3 kwa hilo la la kuvunjwa mabucha ya nguruwe na namfahamisha ili tujuane vyema.

Mimi nilishiriki katika maandamano yale.

Toka kuzaliwa kwangu ukiondoa yake maandamano yetu ya enzi ya TANU Youth League haya ndiyo yaliyokuwa maandamano yangu ya kwanza katika kupambana na mfumokristo. Nguruvi3 jibu hilo hapo chini kwa nini tulivunja yale mabucha:

"In the city of Dar es Salaam alone there were twenty nine porkbutcheries. There occurred incidences where Muslims have been sold pork eitherby design or by fault. This created animosity between Muslims and Christianbutcher owners. Muslims had for many years complained to the government aboutselling of pork in Muslim populated areas but the authorities had ignored them.[1] Theproblem of pork butcheries was even referred to the Prime Minister andVice-President John Malecela but nothing was done to solve the problem. Thiswas after Muslims had seen the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, MustaphaNyang’anyi. This Muslim action came after an abortive meeting between imams of five prominent mosques inKinondoni District and the District Commissioner Wilson Mkama failed to resolvethe nuisance of pig butcheries. In no uncertain manner the imams requested the District Commissioner to close down thebutcheries. [2]The District Commissioner showed contempt at the imams and he impressed upon them that the butcheries were legallylicensed and the government was duty bound to protect them from being molestedby few “Muslim fundamentalists.” It was this government reaction which brokethe camel’s back. In an operation on Easter Friday afternoon a group of young Muslims likewell trained commando squad moved swiftly through Kinondoni District soon afterFriday prayers demolishing pig butcheries amidst chants of Allahu Akbar. This was the first ever physical attack by Muslims onChristian property justified by religious belief for over seventy five years.By taking the law into their own hands Muslims had fired their first warningshot. When news of the attack became known Christians held their breath. On EasterFriday while Christians were observing what they believe to be crucifixion ofChrist a group of Muslims in Magomeni, Tandale and Manzese in KinondoniDistrict went on rampage and demolished pork butcheries owned by Christiantraders.[3]President Mwinyi who was in Zanzibar on official engagement unwisely anddriven by the fear that the country was moving towards the dreaded clashbetween Muslims and Christians, issued an hurried condemnation of the attackand ordered that all those responsible for the attack should be made to feelthe full weight of state power. By that statement a simple case of fewfrustrated young Muslims hotheads driven to action by insensitive of thegovernment to genuine grievances, was blown out of proportion into a national crisis.The government and party media including the state radio warned of the dangersof "Muslim fundamentalists in Tanzania." The Christian lobby saw inMwinyi's statement a blank cheque to crash all Muslims it considered dangerousto their interests. This was what they have been waiting for. The PrimeMinister and Vice-President John Malecela issued a strong statement condemningthe attack. [4]In an interview with the BBC Swahili Service, Malecela referred to the imamsand other Muslims who were arrested as a result of the pork conflict as“hooligans whose aim is to acquire power through religion.”[5]The Minister of Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Augustine Mremaissued a statement saying that he was convinced the act was precipitated by anoutside Muslim power to destabilise the country. The Secretary General of theCCM Horace Kolimba giving the position of the party said that those whoattacked the butcheries were not Muslims but hooligans whose aim was tooverthrow the government.[6] It wasnot explained how unarmed “hooligans” could overthrow a government. SheikhKassim bin Juma who was in Arusha enroute to Nairobi for medical treatment wasarrested on orders of the Minister of Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister,Augustine Mrema. A total of forty Muslims activists including Bible scholarswere arrested. Among those arrested was Salum Khamis the Chairman of Baraza Kuu, Sheikh Yahya HusseinChairman of BALUKTA and Sheikh Salum Rajab leader of the Ansar. Sheikh Salum Rajabwas arrested on charges of making bombs. The news of the arrests of Muslims bythe state security agents triggered Muslim anger.But times had changed drastically. In 1960s when Nyerere was arrestingand detaining sheikhs, Muslims were least concerned. On Easter Sunday after thearrests of imams became known arelatively small crowd of Muslims went to the Central Police were the imams were detained to bail them. Thepolice arrested and anyone who went to the front desk to enquire about thearrested imams. Meanwhile other Muslims assembled outside the police stationnot knowing what was taking place inside the police station. When it was thetime for L’Asr prayers the crowdperformed their prayers outside the police station. This act infuriated thepolicemen most of them Christians. Some of them wanted to come out and dispersethem with tear gas bombs but sense prevailed when some of Muslim policemenobjected arguing that those people had assembled peaceful and there was nothingwrong if they decide to offer their prayers there. Late in the evening thecrowd decided to leave after they were told that the people they had chosen torepresent them to the police were also arrested. What followed on Easter Monday was unprecedented inthe history of Tanzania. After the arrests of the imams the previous day at the Central Police, Muslim from allcorners of Dar es Salaam and near villages assembled at the Mtoro Mosque todiscuss their next step. Inside the mosque on that day a great debate tookplace. First Muslims agreed that they should wait for the prominent sheikhs tocome and only then would they begin to debate what Muslims should do. As timepassed and none of the prominent sheikhs came, Muslims decided to open thefloor and discuss their next step. One thing came out clearly on that day.Muslims agreed that in this issue Muslims would not listen to any thoughts of amortal, they want Allah and Sunna of the Prophet (SAW) to speak to themdirectly. The verses which were recited on that day sent tears to many youngmen. It was taken that Allah has sent a test to Muslims to see if they wouldstand firm to guard the faith in the face of kufar. Itwas the Mtoro Mosque with rain falling that Muslim in thousands chanting Allahu Akbar began to march towardsCentral Police Station where thirteen imamswere detained to demand their release. Muslims were out into the streets todemonstrate and register their anger against the Christian dominated government.Riot police in full battle gear came out into the street and clashed withMuslims and further arrests were made. Sheikh Kassim was arrested in Arushawhile on his way to Nairobi for medical treatment."

The encouragement of pig-breeding among natives isrecommended by experts as an effective means of stopping the spread of Islam. Pleaseconsider this point also. Muslims had for many years complained to the government aboutselling of pork in Muslim populated areas but the authorities had ignored them.[1] Theproblem of pork butcheries was even referred to the Prime Minister andVice-President John Malecela but nothing was done to solve the problem. Thiswas after Muslims had seen the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, MustaphaNyang'anyi. This Muslim action came after an abortive meeting between imams of five prominent mosques inKinondoni District and the District Commissioner Wilson Mkama failed to resolvethe nuisance of pig butcheries. In no uncertain manner the imams requested the District Commissioner to close down thebutcheries. [2]The District Commissioner showed contempt at the imams and he impressed upon them that the butcheries were legallylicensed and the government was duty bound to protect them from being molestedby few "Muslim fundamentalists." It was this government reaction which brokethe camel's back. In an operation on Easter Friday afternoon a group of young Muslims likewell trained commando squad moved swiftly through Kinondoni District soon afterFriday prayers demolishing pig butcheries amidst chants of Allahu Akbar. This was the first ever physical attack by Muslims onChristian property justified by religious belief for over seventy five years.By taking the law into their own hands Muslims had fired their first warningshot. When news of the attack became known Christians held their breath. On EasterFriday while Christians were observing what they believe to be crucifixion ofChrist a group of Muslims in Magomeni, Tandale and Manzese in KinondoniDistrict went on rampage and demolished pork butcheries owned by Christiantraders.[3]President Mwinyi who was in Zanzibar on official engagement unwisely anddriven by the fear that the country was moving towards the dreaded clashbetween Muslims and Christians, issued an hurried condemnation of the attackand ordered that all those responsible for the attack should be made to feelthe full weight of state power. By that statement a simple case of fewfrustrated young Muslims hotheads driven to action by insensitive of thegovernment to genuine grievances, was blown out of proportion into a national crisis.The government and party media including the state radio warned of the dangersof "Muslim fundamentalists in Tanzania." The Christian lobby saw inMwinyi's statement a blank cheque to crash all Muslims it considered dangerousto their interests. This was what they have been waiting for. The PrimeMinister and Vice-President John Malecela issued a strong statement condemningthe attack. [4]In an interview with the BBC Swahili Service, Malecela referred to the imamsand other Muslims who were arrested as a result of the pork conflict as"hooligans whose aim is to acquire power through religion."[5]The Minister of Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Augustine Mremaissued a statement saying that he was convinced the act was precipitated by anoutside Muslim power to destabilise the country. The Secretary General of theCCM Horace Kolimba giving the position of the party said that those whoattacked the butcheries were not Muslims but hooligans whose aim was tooverthrow the government.[6] It wasnot explained how unarmed "hooligans" could overthrow a government. SheikhKassim bin Juma who was in Arusha enroute to Nairobi for medical treatment wasarrested on orders of the Minister of Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister,Augustine Mrema. A total of forty Muslims activists including Bible scholarswere arrested. Among those arrested was Salum Khamis the Chairman of Baraza Kuu, Sheikh Yahya HusseinChairman of BALUKTA and Sheikh Salum Rajab leader of the Ansar. Sheikh Salum Rajabwas arrested on charges of making bombs. The news of the arrests of Muslims bythe state security agents triggered Muslim anger.But times had changed drastically. In 1960s when Nyerere was arrestingand detaining sheikhs, Muslims were least concerned. On Easter Sunday after thearrests of imams became known arelatively small crowd of Muslims went to the Central Police were the imams were detained to bail them. Thepolice arrested and anyone who went to the front desk to enquire about thearrested imams. Meanwhile other Muslims assembled outside the police stationnot knowing what was taking place inside the police station. When it was thetime for L'Asr prayers the crowdperformed their prayers outside the police station. This act infuriated thepolicemen most of them Christians. Some of them wanted to come out and dispersethem with tear gas bombs but sense prevailed when some of Muslim policemenobjected arguing that those people had assembled peaceful and there was nothingwrong if they decide to offer their prayers there. Late in the evening thecrowd decided to leave after they were told that the people they had chosen torepresent them to the police were also arrested. What followed on Easter Monday was unprecedented inthe history of Tanzania. After the arrests of the imams the previous day at the Central Police, Muslim from allcorners of Dar es Salaam and near villages assembled at the Mtoro Mosque todiscuss their next step. Inside the mosque on that day a great debate tookplace. First Muslims agreed that they should wait for the prominent sheikhs tocome and only then would they begin to debate what Muslims should do. As timepassed and none of the prominent sheikhs came, Muslims decided to open thefloor and discuss their next step. One thing came out clearly on that day.Muslims agreed that in this issue Muslims would not listen to any thoughts of amortal, they want Allah and Sunna of the Prophet (SAW) to speak to themdirectly. The verses which were recited on that day sent tears to many youngmen. It was taken that Allah has sent a test to Muslims to see if they wouldstand firm to guard the faith in the face of kufar. Itwas the Mtoro Mosque with rain falling that Muslim in thousands chanting Allahu Akbar began to march towardsCentral Police Station where thirteen imamswere detained to demand their release. Muslims were out into the streets todemonstrate and register their anger against the Christian dominated government.Riot police in full battle gear came out into the street and clashed withMuslims and further arrests were made. Sheikh Kassim was arrested in Arushawhile on his way to Nairobi for medical treatment."

Do you consider it possible tomake a regulation prohibiting Islam altogether? Possibly a rule might beenforced by which teachers would not be allowed to perform circumcision or actas preachers in the mosques, etc. The same prohibition might also be applied toother government servants. The encouragement of pig-breeding among natives isrecommended by experts as an effective means of stopping the spread of Islam. Pleaseconsider this point also. Wazee wangu wengine walilazimika kubadilisha majina ili wasome. Wengine walisoma hadi mafundisho kanisani ili mradi wapate elimu. Hivyo suala la mistreatment against muslims lipo na Mwanakijiji hawezi kulipinga. Hata hivyo mapungufu ya waislamu nayo yapo na yamechangiwa zaidi na grievance ambayo waislamu wanayo dhidi ya Bakwata. Mfano shule ya Kinondoni imekuwa ikifelisha na wanafunzi hawafanyi vizuri kwasababu hakuna mwislamu anataka kujiweka upande wa Bakwata. Bakwata imebakia baraza la maulidi, mwandamo wa mwezi na matamko tu. Shule ya Ubungo Islamic, Mzizima, Feza, Al-Muntazir zimekuwa zinafanya vizuri sana katika matokeo ya wanafunzi wake kwakuwa zimekuwa zikisimamiwa na waislamu wenyewe bila ya mikono ya Bakwata. Hivyo utaona kuna tatizo katika vitu vinavyosimamiwa na Bakwata na sio taasisi zengine.

Kauli za vitisho hakuna mtu ametoa kauli za vitisho. Watu wamechukua maneno yao na kuyafanya maneno ya Mohamed Said. Mohamed hakusema kunakuja vita bali amesema hali hii ikiendelea inaweza kusababisha vurugu kwa mujibu wa maono yake na utafiti alioufanya. Je amesema kitisho gani hapo zaidi ya kusema ukweli. Kumbukeni ndugu zanguni kuwa an unjust society is a society of lawlessness. Wananchi wakiona sheria ziko kuwafavor watu wa aina fulani resistance huchipukia hapo hapo. Je kuendelea huku kwa waislamu kufanywa second class citizen hauoni kunapelekea kuwepo kwa fukuto la moyo miongoni mwa waislamu?

Halafu kuna mambo yanachangia pia kuleta kupotea kwa hali ya uaminifu. Mfano MoU ya Kanisa na Serikali. Serikali inawalipa Kanisa Bilioni 91 kila mwaka kutoka katika kodi za waislamu na wakristo. Je waislamu wanagaiwa ngapi? Kuna mtu anaweza kutuambia MoU ya Serikali na Aga Khan serikali ilikuwa INATOA KIASI KWA TAASISI ZA AGA KHAN KILA MWAKA???? Huu ni ufisadi na unapelekea waislamu nao waulize mustakabali wa kodi zao vp?????
