Sasa sijui wangapi mliwahi kusikia juu ya maadili ya matangazo ya biashara kwenye vyombo vya habari nchini. Lakini kwa muda sasa kumekuwa na mashauriano ya wadau wa eneo hili nyeti na sasa zimebakia saa kama 24 hivi kabla ya muda wa majadiliano kupita. Kutokana na umuhimu wa JF na jinsi watu wanavyotoa maoni yao nimepenyezewa kama vile mtu anavyopenyeza uzi kwenye tundu la sindano nyaraka hii ili itolewe maoni ili hatimaye yawasilishwe pamoja na ya wengine hapo kesho (msiniulize kwanini wasifanye mwisho uwe Ijumaa).

Nimeweka matoleo mawili.

a. Toleo la Kwanza ni makala jinsi ilivyo sasa na maadili yanayopendekezwa na ambayo yanastahili kutolewa maoni. File linaitwa "CODE OF ETHICS IN ADVERTISING"

B. Toleo la Pili ni lile ambalo mimi nimelitolewa maoni (nimetumia rangi tofauti kuweka maoni yangu. Na ninawapa pia kama sehemu ya kuanzia. Linaitwa "code of ethics in ads comments"

Hivyo unaweza kusoma makala ya kwanza kuelewa nini kinapendekezwa katika maadili ya kutoa matangazo ya biashara (yanahusisha mambo ya siasa, dini, elimu n.k ) halafu unaweza kutoa maoni yako.

Napendekeza na wewe ufanya vile vile. Tunza original document kama ilivyo, halafu fungua nyingine na uifanyie commentary halafu isevu kwa jina jingine.

Endapo utamaliza unaweza kutuma moja kwa moja kwenye email iliyomo au unaweza kunitumia mimi nikazikusanya na kutuma zote kama zip file kama mchango wa wana JF kuhusu maadili ya matangazo ya biashara (ethics in advertising)

Kwa vile sisi siyo walalamikaji na wakosoaji tu, wakati umefika tutoe mawazo ya nini kinafaa au kifanyike. Hii ni mojawapo ya nafasi za kufanya hivyo.

Nimeweka matoleo mawili.

muda ni mfupi sana kwa kweli......hii "paper work" ni nyingi mno kwa masaa 24.
nipo interested na advertizment za madawa, hizi ni lazima ziangaliwe kwa makini kwani any loop hole inaweza kuwa utilized na kina nanilii, plus its an issue of public health.

kwa upesi upesi proposals zao ni nzuri, again kwa kuwa muda ni mfupi basi my guess ni kuwa zitapita. kwa kuwa hizi si amri kumi za mungu, basi ni subject of amendments. waziweke kazini, na kama zina mapungufu basi mpaka wakati huo zitachambuliwa polepole na inshallah mabadiliko yatafanyika.

kuna faili moja lina tarehe ya November, 2007.....sasa nashangaa kwanini wanalisukuma hapa masaa 24 kabla ya ripoti hiyo kuwa rasmi!! huu ni unafiki na kusakiziana majukumu ktk juhudi za kujikosha. na amini kwamba hii ni hiyari yao kumpa MKJJ kuleta hii kitu hapa, lakini ktk same token....Biiiiiiiig, WHY question ktk timing!!. absurd.
 
I think time sio yakutosha. Lakini i think kuna vitu vimeloose kwenye medical ads, vile vile kwenye alcohol and tobacco kuna loophole.
Hii kitu unaitaji kuikalia chini na kuanalyze one thing at a time
 
Kuko na ethics involved ktk izo ads and we need to adhere kwa afya ya walengwa na wellbeing ya watz.

Nakumbuka whwere I was working tuliwai tengeneza Tangazo wizara ya Afya wakareject saying maandishi ya onyo ni madogo interms of the font size na tukaongeza.

To me naona its good kuwalinda watumiaji wa izo bizaa pamoja na kuwa alert.
 
Unapozungumzia ethics,lazima ujue unahitaji muda wa kutosha kwenda kipengele kwa kipengele na unahitaji kuangalia ethics za mambo mengine zitakuwa zinaingiliana vipi na hii. Wazo nzuri ila wametunyima muda. Tulio nje ya nchi tungewasaidia kwa kulinganisha na hizi za wenzetu then wangepata kitu kizuri sana. Muda hautoshi kabisa. Mzee mwanakijiji kama ulivyosema wanaweza kuwa mafisadi hawa
 
I have seen it and read it and thus i would like to give my two cents concerning it.

here i go.
the advertisement ethics code should consider the following things.

1: Deception will not be allowed
it means any act,practice or representation that is likely to mislead consumers acting REASONABLY shall be considered as a deception.

2:Unfairness will not be allowed
sometimes various marketing practices can treat consumers unfairly without even deceiving them forexample the kind of an advertisement which is immoral in nature, or it is unethical, or it is oppressive will be treated as immoral.

3:A name, Trade mark,or copyright of a competitive product shall not be used as means of comparison by the product being advertised.

4:an advertisement shall not directly or indirectly use or refer to the illegal drugs as a mean to achieve a positive marketing benefits except when it is done in a way to encourage people to abandon/not to use those drugs.

5:The safety of people, animals and plants (actors of the advertisement during acting)shall be guaranteed by the makers of the advertisement.

6:No matter the religion inclinations of the maker of an advertisement,owner of an advertisement,or people who are used as actors of an adevertisement, it is forbidden, directly or indirectly to dishonour the name of the Almighty God,or to use it for the purpose of commercial advantage of a product.
