JK may be on a treacherous path to retain his grip on national politics but the question remains through whose legitimacy...............his self-appointed NEC and the security forces or voters' wishes.................

But his longtime ally Mr. Lowassa is experiencing a totally different scenario, Arusha did not reject Dr. Batilda per-se but they were unequivocally snubbing Lowassa's pernicious interference in Arusha municipal politics....................Batilda was a mere paw where Arusha residents exploited to send a powerful message to Lowassa that they are offended by his influence on them......

Poor Dr. Batilda who had made a political career out of Lowassa's mentoring could have different narratives today had she been perceived she was her own political maker.......rather than a stooge of CCM senior politician..one Edward Lowassa.........

Deep down Dr. Batilda's mind she ought to be asking herself whether she is really a political consummate strategist at all..........as far as I am concerned her dabbling in politics was never serious, at all ...............she plunged herself in the Arusha constituent politics this year by accident..or it seems ensuing from UWT imposition of .............

How can you expound that despite a decade in Arusha politics nobody seems to be familiar with her contributions?

It looks like after UWT capped terms for women special representation to two that she had a second thought about Arusha Municipal politics otherwise she would have preferred to stay in the safe waters of UWT politicking........

Then there was the diatribe she unleashed in the House culminating into Zitto Kabwe's ouster...........was she not protecting her mentor via sacrificing principle.......Those niggling questions only her can furnish some elaborate answers.........

For Lowassa the inevitable fall of Dr. Batilda ought to teach him a lifetime lesson..............STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAKE IN ARUSHA POLITICAL WAVES...........ARUSHA HAS MOVED ON PLEASE DO THE SAME............

Greta Ruta...i have no more comment, u have explained everything brother..... May all well wishers pray for our Nation because the liberation has come and the day in now.....let us keep our hands together we are going to liberate our country from these tyrants and greedy leader from Hell

This woman should never have been selected by CCM for this seat - she is certainly naive and did not understand the dyanamics of Arusha politics. This election result reminds me of the 1980 one party elections when the late Solomon Ole Saibulu [RIP] was defeated by an unknown entity - somebody called Mbaga as MP for Arusha. Some of the dyanamics of that election have been repeated in these elections. The late Saibulu who was a very strong personality learnt from his mistakes and was highly respected by his neighbours in Sinon Lemara until his demise in the late 1990s. This Batilda woman I am doubtful if she is capable of learning - as she is a pawn being pushed by others who have sinister motives not only for Arusha but for Tanzania as a whole. Similar fate has befallen the CCM candidate for Arumeru west - CCM at national level should learn from these results.

God bless Arusha; God bless Tanzania.

Lowassa panicked because he knows very well he can kiss 2015 goodbye.. If he cant control Arusha.. he can never get Tanzania. I love wananchi, wanna kiss them all hehehehe including me. Lowassa= CANCER

I can assure you that Tanzanians voted against corruption and they had in mind the likes of Lowasa. Thanks should go to JK's historic miscalculations that led him to think he was in a safe zone to campaign for Lowasa and his infamous gang.

Batilda could not handle Arusha (she knows it), she was just pushed to run for the post, after Mrema being outdated (hauziki), i real dont understand the motives behind the one who pushed her, is it INFLUENCE? KAMTANDAO KAPYA? GHOST LEADING? :nono:
