Below admission from Fekir goes on to almost confirm that a move by LFC for him was a more politically motivated thing (following Coutinho's departure who Klopp would have kept at Anfield had he wanted) than what the gaffer himself actually wanted.

he's simply NOT (together with Coutinho) a Klopp's type of player and Klopp made sure both were not part of LFC rebuilding for honours!
